I just got this from a friend--FYI: MJJ-777 From Raven: This may be a little late on the dollar, but please boycott Walgreen's for Halloween! I was just informed that they are selling "***** *****" masks. This is unacceptable! Halloween was Michael's favorite holiday but there's a right and wrong way to celebrate him. Thriller dances and costumes, ...etc are cool; ***** ***** masks are NOT!

How can people be so damn cruel!

I think everyone knows what the blocked words are :( It was THE name Michael hated so much...

i don't know that he had a position on holidays, but he was into his kids having fun at any possible given opportune time, and i guess halloween was one ot those times.....but..walgreens was always controversial...here's to hoping and praying they go out of business.

If anyone wants to leave a comment at Walgreen's website here's the link:

I left a comment there even though Halloween is already over, staying polite and reasonable.

This post found on Facebook gives very good reasoning on why such masks should not be called that!

The thriller zombie was a CHARACTER he CREATED; the masks currently for sale at Wal-Green's are a cruel stab at the real PERSON. We need to let Walgreen's know this is unacceptable and have them remove these offensive masks from their shelf.

Thanks MsCassieMollie for the heads up and MJJLaugh for providing an action link.
I have already posted my comments via the contact form.
Even though Halloween is over, our polite and factual responses can certainly prevent this from happening again in the future.

Here's a very moving reaction from a fellow fan on twitter:

I think Michael would be so proud.
