Did Michael start taking demoral and other drugs after that .... ? And he couldnt stop taking pain medications after that, because he was addicted to it ? ( I hope im not getting banned I just wanna ask if that was the case?)

we can only speculate what drugs were in Michaels system, until the toxicology comes back we wont know. However it is believed it wasnt demoral that was involved in his death, it was an intravenous anaesthetic drug widely used in operating rooms to induce unconsciousness. It is generally given through an IV needle in the hand, Propofol. Further speculation leads us to believe he used this to get sleep and over come his intense insomnia.

Demerol is a morphine based drug. Morphine is always given to burn victims. However I doubt they would have released him from the hospital still addicted to the drug.
Michael may have had addictions to other pain medication through his life (like in '93) but I believe he managed to get rid of those always.

the real issue was 93.theres no evidence of him being addicted after the burns incident but obviously he did take medication back then which led to problems later.so u could say no burning then maybe it wouldnt have led to 93

I've heard that he'd cleansed himself of all medication recently, was healthy, but still could not sleep through the night. his tolerance threshold was thus lower than it had been before. hence, the propofol affected him in a way it perhaps hadn't before.

then today I heard that perhaps Conrad Murray fell asleep. he was supposed to stay awake while Michael was under.

oh, Michael. sigh :(

I don't think he was addicted to demoral back then, didn't MJ go to rehab in 93 because of pain killers, I think thats when he got addicted back then.

Just a question, out of curiosity because so many stars seem to be dying of drug abuse......how do these celebs get addicted to painkillers anyway?? Just a brief summary.....So, they get into an accident, they feel intense pain, the doctors then prescribe painkillers to them for a certain amount of time to ease the pain and then when they're all better and healed, the doctors actually take them off the painkillers right??.....which means that they don't need it anymore! So, how do they even get addicted in the first place? Do they like just take it even when it doesn't hurt?
