Er, what now? Just looked at the 'studio, improved' clip. That's for real? I mean, it looks real. But, how?
It was the version on the Ultimate Collection, I just had the feeling of his emotions in this song, it’s beautifulEr, what now? Just looked at the 'studio, improved' clip. That's for real? I mean, it looks real. But, how?
I loved it. Brilliant. Interesting. Poignant. ('I don't wanna die in my sleep').
So it's real? Wow. That is cool.

That's such a good song! Haven't heard this in ages!
Same. I was horrified to realise how much I've been neglecting it. No, seriously, just horrified.That's such a good song! Haven't heard this in ages!
That one is fabulous too! I feel like the live performances show a lot more creativity and uniqueness to it, as well as letting them let loose to enjoy themselves, also the versitality that goes into it versus while in the recording booth.
@MacMandy90
Here you go. Not as beautiful as the studio version but still completely awesome, imo. Don't know what you'll make of it (you might hate it). People just don't seem to perform live vocals anymore whereas I grew up with it so it sounds normal to me, that difference between the 'studio' voice and the 'real' voice.
I love this, especially the little bit of acapella.
Agree 100%. There's a lot of creativity here. As in, it's a challenging song to sing live - although they totally have the voices for it and can hit those high notes and do the harmonies and everything - but also, just singing live gives them a bit of extra freedom and they use it so well.That one is fabulous too! The acapella is literally spot on as well!
I absolutely love that movie! That's where I first heard Land of 1000 Dances!@zinniabooklover
Reacting to an older post. Land of 1000 dances gets used in the 1988 comedy film "the great outdoors" with John Candy and Dan Akroyd in a very fun and exciting scene during the end. You should watch the film just for thatgood fun!
