It was definitely better than the OTW doc, imo. Not great by any means, but the amount of unseen footage alone was a solid draw.

I haven't watched the Nelson documentary, but even if it is bad, it won't change my opinion on the Spike Lee Off The Wall documentary.

I can't recall anyrhing from any of the documentaries except for the unreleased footage. I don't care about watching interviews about music like that. I'd rather read it.

It is not proper to celebrate one's death with an anniversary release.

Michael Jackson died because of what was going on during the 'This Is It' era.

It would look like you are happy because that person (in that case, Michael Jackson) died.

Thirdly, it would be pointless to release a 50th anniversary version of the 'Off The Wall' disco album, considering that the disco genre has been dead for half a century.

Many current artists have Off The Wall vibes.

I will never buy another version of OTW unless it sounds better, and at this point that's impossible unless it's in 5.1 surround.

Anniversary editions are for chumps.

If they want to sell me new songs, then collect them all together and release them as a new album with 12 new songs and nothing else, for £8, or whatever the going rate is for a CD these days. Something that's actually worthwhile.
