MJ had a lot of underrated songs, especially later on in his career. What is your fave underrated track? Mine is Heartbreaker from Invincible (2001)

Definitely Money. I love that song so much, especially the layering of vocals at the end. Yet outside the fan world, nobody knows it.
Yes the layering and harmonisation at the end is second to none. I think casual listeners struggle to understand the concept of the song. Its Wade Robson's THEME song.

When we say "underrated", do we just mean "a song I like that others don't"?

I love Who is It and Stranger in Moscow and Liberian Girl but wouldn't call them underrated as they even got their own Music Videos or were even released as singles.

He has several imo but my immediate short list :
We've had enough, History, GITM, 2Bad, This time Around, unbreakable, Break of Dawn, Cheater..

Off The Wall - It's The Falling In Love
Thriller - Baby Be Mine
Bad - Speed Demon or Just Good Friends
Dangerous - Keep The Faith or Why You Wanna Trip On Me
HIStory - This Time Around
Blood On The Dance Floor - Superfly Sister
Invincible - Don't Walk Away

‘euphoria’💜
I’ve never seen a fan, or critic praise this song. it’s full wonder and whimsical energy 🤩it’s reminiscent of ‘looking through the windows’ with all those transitions that magically tie together. some of the lyrics are poignant, and represent who michael was, or at least how he tried to live..
