What tattoo should I get?

Im thinking about getting MJ tattoo :)

Please tell me what do you think what kind of tattoo shoul i make and were to pout it :)
 
Hi there. Well, with all due respect, if I were you, I would not ask people to help you choose something so personal. I mean, I do not know. If I were you I'd wait until it comes to me. Maybe you should ask fans to show you mj tattoos and google a few tattoos/go to some tattoo artists websites. Then let all that simmer in your head until the ":wild: moment". I've thought about having a tattoo as well (not an mj tattoo) but I've never been able to come up with something important/powerful enough to put it on my body.

I personally wouldn't get one of his face, just because face tattoos are so hit or miss with the end result.
What about his MJJ logo of the feet?
Or a silhouette type of thing of one of his poses?

Just some ideas.
 
Don´t ask anyone else what you should put on your body that will stay there forever. A tattoo is something that comes from within yourself, not from anyone else. I suggest you go on facebook and look for the Michael tattoo groups and look at them to get ideas. I agree with Atlas about face tattoos, I´ve seen some that are very good and some that aren´t.

I agree with the posters on here so far. Its all about what you feel you want and wish to see on your body.It is there for a lifetime so it has to be as right as it can possibly be.


I had toyed with the hot idea of getting a tattoo done since mid 00's [So for personal reasons I chose this pic :

but my local tattooist couldn't do it. I wanted it much smaller in size with M's signature underneath. Im yet to try elsewhere maybe London but like others said, about the face pictures, although some can be beautiful . It's a chance game I would be terrified of them getting it not right. I would prefer a tattooist who has [if possible] specialised in faces and maybe a hard-core Michael Jackson fan, A person who knows its fan art. Sometimes I just want to stick a piece of fan art on me. I would trust someone with Kat Von D Tattoo's skills for faces.

I had idea like : LOVE LIVES FOREVER or Its all for LOVE or just something like that ....I want something that MJ wrote 100% to be part of me ....:D
 
What I do when I'm thinking about getting a tattoo, I find a picture of it and carry it around with me for about a year. I take it out and look at it from time to time. If it's gonna be on my skin for the rest of my days, I realllllly want to make sure that it's what I want and that I'm not acting on so fleeting urge. Maybe pinpoint what it is you're looking for first, then sit and think about if you really want it or not for a good long time... :)
 
I agree with other members ^-^. It should be something that comes within you. Something that you really want to do. And you should pick it yourself ^O^. You can ask people for ideas, but you are the one who chooses. I'll leave some inspiration for you:

Some of those portraits are STUNNING! Wow! but some...mmmmmmm no

I have to go with what all the others have said and I don't recommend you let anyone else but you decide what you should get.

It took me years to decide what I wanted for my MJ tattoo. And even now, I want it worked on and enhanced but I'm not sure how I want it done yet - and it's 3 years old. I first wanted an MJ tattoo about ten years ago and only just got it in 2011. I think mine, conceptually, is perfect. It's not a photo or a logo or anything, nothing immediately recognizable.
 
Wow, some of those portrait tats are amazing! But some are a little...mmmnope, haha.

Anywho, OP - it's always great to get feedback and ideas to stir your creativity, but please take your time in deciding what you want for your MJ tattoo. My best advice is to think very long and hard about what it is he means to you. Many fans and friends of his all agree that he has a unique connection with all of us - even us bajillions of fans - what do you feel best represents that connection?

Mine was years and years in the making - I knew I wanted one right after the trial, but I couldn't for the life of me decide what I wanted. Nothing seemed to really fit. It actually kind of bothered me before he died - this man was one of the most important things in my life and I knew I wanted to memorialize it on me somehow, but for the life of me I just couldn't figure out what I wanted.

After he died, things started to become more clear, and as I worked through the grief, I was finally able to start visualizing something that most accurately represented him and my love for him. I ended up with something slightly macabre and not immediately recognizable as MJ-related, but it suits me perfectly. I know I want some additional work done to it and other work done around it as well, but that will have to wait until I have the money to get it worked on :)

So, just don't rush. A lot of these tats are great and I think would be a good foundation, but really really really truly think long and deep about it. Let it come to you! You'll know when you have it.
