What was MJs best live concert

I think I saw < 5% of his concert during his solo career. How can I make a choice ??
 
The best ones for me were the ones I went to History Concert Dublin, Ireland, July 1997 , MJ and Friends Munich Germany June 1999, both MSG Concerts, Friday September 7 and Monday September 10 2001

I like his SC and BJ performances from History tour, because of astonishing choreography. I really love how he improved his robot dance in the end of BJ choreography 0:31-0:41

from the excitement of the Sept 10th show to the horrors in New York the following morning, what was your experience like of 9/11?

I take it you were still there on the day? 😔
 
Wasn’t Michael supposed to go into the world trade center that day as well but over slept or something???

No, thats an urban myth. Michael was never going to be shopping in the morning time. Thats not something he did. The concerts finished late it was after midnight when he got back to The Palace Hotel. I know because I was there too, with the other fans outside the hotel. We went there after the concerts.

Those who know Michael and were around him in real life know that after an event he took a rest day. When he went shopping it was always in the evening times. Security would go out in the day time, plan the route and arrange for the shop to be closed for Michael and for a shop person to be available as a personal shopper for him. In all the years I was around Michael outside hotels and seeing him shopping, in London, in New York, in Berlin, he NEVER went out early in the morning.
 
Impossible to tell considering my fave period has hardly any concerts out in either video or audio. It will be hard to beat the vocals of the 1970 Forum concert I guess
 
We will sadly probably never know, because of the wonderfully useless estate.

Yes, Michael Jackson was supposed to go into the World Trade Center because he had to attend a planned appointment (at the top of one of the Twin Towers) first thing in the morning.

But, he missed that planned appointment because he overslept (due to a late-night chat with his mother Katherine Jackson and with some of his siblings):

"Mother, I'm okay, thanks to you. You kept me up talking so late that I overslept and missed my appointment" (Michael Jackson)

That incident was also confirmed by his brother Jermaine Jackson.
 
Biased here but seen him when i was 10 years old at Glasgow Green , Dangerous Tour 1992 . Still ranks as one of the LOUDEST concerts i have ever been to since then. Although of the footage we have I think LA 1989 he sounds great also some of the Destiny tour vocals are amazing.

I'm not sure if I believe him. Frank Cascio says that he was supposed to be there to give back the jewerly that was loaned to Elizabeth Taylor. That sounds more believable to me.

I've just spent some time looking at the articles on your website and really enjoyed reading your memories and experiences of being at the concerts and other moments following Michael.

I can picture them all in my head, was particularly interested in the aftermath of 9/11 and how you were stuck in New York until the 15th, crazy. It must have been scary.

Exactly, we were up and at The Palace Hotel only because thats what we did, but we never expected to see Michael before lunch time on ANY day. That was his routine over many years. A big event, followed by a rest day. Then when he did go out and about it was evening time. Like in November 2001. The CD signing was in the afternoon and evening Wednesday 7 November. On Thursday 8 November he stayed in all day and went shopping at FAO Swartz at 8pm that night, when they closed the shop for him. I know this because I was there. I can keep going with examples, year after year country after country.

Also just something else I remembered. Michael was staying at The Palace Hotel. The Jackson family were staying at The Plaza Hotel. I know this because many of my friends were going back and forth between the two hotels and getting photos with various members of The Jackson family. Jermaine was not even in the same building as Michael on the morning of September 11.

Michael La Perruque (the singer's security chief at the time) was about to give back the jewellery to Elizabeth Taylor, not Michael Jackson.

Frank Cascio changed that part of the story a little bit (in his book) for over dramatization purposes.

It was also confirmed by Michael Jackson himself in one of his interviews.
