Interesting to see the emails were from early November, and he had already laid down BG's for WBSS2008 in 11/07. I believe this is around the time when HmH was recorded too. I wonder at what point did he decide to return to studio a year later and record BoJ. Could he have been reminded of the Toy and decided to go back and finish BoJ from Dangerous? Not that he ever stopped recording, but T25 could have reignited his drive?

Possible. Could explain why he rejected the original T25 bonus track proposal.

MJ meeting Rod the following year & and Rod registering Hot Street" with USCO in December 2008 could be interpreted as a desire to release it at a later point. Perhaps as part of the planned standalone single releases during MJs stay in London?

I like this theory. It'd explain why MJ suddenly had a desire to re-record an old demo that was left forgotten for almost 20 years lol

Actually I was just thinking about this. As you know For All Time is on T25, which MJ signed off on. Damien confirmed that “Just Remember” was recorded in 08, and the lyrics are “remember what I told you, and remember for all time”. I guess that MJ heard FAT in late 2007 and got inspired from the lyrics to write Just Remember.
