It seems to have vanished from the Michael Mania forum and I'm wondering if it's moved to another section or if it's removed completely, and if so why?

Ok, I just read that rule & I'm left slightly perplexed as to how exactly it pertains to the thread, but of course I'll respect the rules, although I feel that it's a bit of a shame because a few episodes of said podcast are incredibly educational & insightful and would be extremely benificial to fans, however whatever I feel is irrelevant here anyways. Thanks for the reply.

That maybe the case and of course we wish them well with their endeavours however they need to find their own way of promoting it rather than using the popularity of our community to do so, we at MJJC are also planning on our own podcast's delivered direct through our community radio station thus this is a direct conflict of interest.

Hope that helps.

Just to make it clear, I am in no way affiliated with the podcast so this was absolutely in no way THEM promoting anything.
I wasn't promoting them either, beyond stating I find it a wonderful, high quality product the MJ fan community needed for years.

It isn't relevant who is affiliated and whether you was or was not promoting it by it simply being there is a form of promotion, our rules are there for a reason which is to protect the interest of MJJC within the services we provide - its like Tesco walking into Asda with boards promoting products that they sell, I'm pretty sure they would be told to leave as is the case here.

Ah ok, fair enough. That makes a lot more sense to me. And just to be clear, me talking about their podcast wasn't their way of using the popularity of MJJC to advertise, although yes I do feel that as many fans as possible should be made aware of it because it's a quality product available for free & fans would get great enjoyment from it, but I would hate for the guys on the podcast to have the finger pointed at them because of me.
Anyways, point taken & thanks for clarifying Gaz.
