Erm, any time when he was still around between '01 (when I became a proper fan) and '09, I guess? I misunderstood the question and voted Thriller though, lol!
 
The HIStory era - hot summers, the MTV weekends, Michael being EVERYWHERE...
and Tony Moran's HIStory remix played on the radio...

However, the period of time that gives me MOST nostalgia are the years from after Vince (2002) till 2009. The hard times, the good times... The constant waiting...

Dangerous...........the early 1990's...........

Michael was truly the King of the World!!!!!!!!
 
Bad and Dangerous for me. Bad because that's when I discovered Michael and also for Moonwalker, and Dangerous because that was the big era of my childhood and soooo much Michael-related stuff happened during this era. AND also it was during this era that I saw him in the flesh!!!!! :D
