Best-I'd have to say "Dangerous". It still sounds modern and current.

Worst-Definitely "Bad". I love the album but apart from one or two songs, it has aged very badly.

I think the album that has aged the least is Dangerous. That album still sounds as fresh today as it did back in 1991.

The one that has probably aged the most is BAD because of the synthesiser and drum machine however I don't see that as a negative as I think the album has a special sound and I love the nostalgia of it.

I love Dangerous, its my favorite album but that album had some heavy new Jack Swing. NJS hasn't completely died out, there is some some traces left. I mean it wasn't THAT long ago....So a GOOD 91 album wouldn't have aged that bad anyway. IMO

I see where you're coming from. Some of Thriller's tracks have aged really well like Thriller, Billie Jean, Wanna Be Startin Something and Beat but I think the rest has a distinct 80's sound but that really isn't a bad thing imo because the 80's rock.

WHAT????!!!! Thriller and OTW has aged the least??!!!???!!???!!???!!!???!?!!!!?!?!?!???!!

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! those are my TWO FAVES!!!!

And i feel like they transcend today's music BY FAR!!!!!

awwww..................well, what can u do? :(

DANGEROUS HAS aged well to me.

Invincible sounds dated overall especially the fast tracks.

OTW has definitely aged the best for its age. That album is 29 years old and some of those tracks (Rock With You, OTW) could still be releaesed today as new while others such as DSTYGE sound very disco era, but still sound good.

Bad has aged the most. I enjoy the album, but whenever I listen to it, the overuse of the drum machines and synths make it sound very 1986-87. The album was even a bit dated when it came out. 1987-88 was the beginning of the New Jack Swing era and since I'm sure MJ had been working on Bad material since about 1985-86, the album really sounded dated by 1988 standards (think Bobby Brown-My Prerogative, etc.). MJ did hop on the New Jack Swing by 1991, but I think that the Dangerous album had enough variety of styles among the 14 tracks that it managed to not get too caught up in that specific era.
