Why didn’t MJ do full recreations of his iconic costumes live for TII?

In the past tours, I always took it that he didn’t have enough time to do full costume changes. But This Is It was going to be the first concert series to actually do full concert changes. And he actually was going to wear a full replica of one of his classic looks, Smooth Crimimal. But that was the only one.

It’s not a dealbreaker by any means, but I always wished he wore complete costumes for Billie Jean (with the silver sequin shirt), Thriller (red under shirt and pants), Beat It (blue & pink shirt), Bad (the full biker gear), etc.

Why didn’t he?

Maybe some outfits were a bit too hard to dance in and weren't exactly to maximum comfort level or simply the fact that he didn't enough time to do so many costume changes. But that's just my guess. I might be wrong

Excessive costume changes, I can imagine would be difficult to plan and fit into the show

I don't think Zaldy really understood the memo for This is It in a number of aspects

Not enough time for all those costume changes and there'd be too many interludes inbeween songs.
