Woman charged w/ capital murder for killing stepfather (lethal dose of propofol)

oh boy, she should've said it was an accident like murray and that the man begged her for it. then she could've possibly gotten away with just IM.

You can't just convict someone for murder without the sufficient evidence, that's not the way the judicial system works.

Are you talking about Murray or the woman?

Because there is more than enough evidence to charge murray with Murder 2.

Re: Woman Injected Stepfather With Lethal Dose of Propofol

Just an absolutely wonderful find here. G R E A T P O S T ! ! ! Murray should also be charged with Murder 1 and face the death penalty. There is no doubt. Not Murder 2 and most definitely not Manslaughter. He's a physician who worked in interventional cardiology. In that department, patient's require sedation all the time. He knew what he was doing and I strongly feel he did it intentionally. What he did was no accident.

I agree.. Murray knew or should have known what propofol does and he definitely knows what benzo's do and combining the two without proper monitoring was cause for disaster and he knew it. Murray ain't stupid.. He's a 20 year cardiologist with 3 licenses to practice medicine. During the sedation in his medical facilities on his cardiac patients does he give them propofol and leave them alone without anyone monitoring them?

on one case you have a person, who plans to kill someone, takes out a drug and gives it to the other person possibly without their knowledge..
We only know for a fact that the woman took out the drug and that the step-father did not inject it himself, since no jeringes, needle or drug was found in the crime scene. But how much propofol was detected? was it really her plan to kill him? Probably yes, but there's missing information.
on the other case you have a person who uses the drug in a wrong and careless manner but to make other person to sleep - not to kill and gives with the knowledge of the other party..
That's what has been said, but "make sby sleep" for how long? For 8 hs, as Cherlyn Lee declared? That would imply large amounts as if for a major surgical operation, as it happened on the tragical date, and in that case if Murray would have done it the days before under the same conditions (no intubation, no ventilation either, no infusion pump and the like), the sad result would have anticipated.
CM declared many strange things, one of them the amount of prop he gave: 25mg. The same needed for a conscious sedation, according to this link. (Funny it is only needed an oximeter and oxygen via nasal cannulae...).

Absolutely right. Besides, he had a lot of time since he bought the medicines to read the info about them.

Murray's conduct does not fit into first degree murder. There must be an intent to kill and premeditation and deliberation for someone being charged with first degree murder. It was not the case with Murray.

I don't believe anything Conrad Murray says, nor do I believe Cherlyn Lee.
