Wondering about the 'Memorabilia' thread.....

Thank you for letting me know.
I'm very sad personally to see it merged, as the individual memorabilia threads are now very hard to find. I agree they were not as popular as Michaelmania in general, but they were a cohesive and unique set of threads, and a great resource, and for me, one of the highlights of the Board.
I appreciate that there is a 'search' function, but sometimes it's hard to remember what the title of a thread was, and I do find that most of my searches don't find what I'm looking for, even when I know they are there.
Personally, a sad day, as many of the memorabilia were so much 'bound up' with Michael and his career. (and I still haven't figured out how to use anything on 2000 watts, so that was a really nice alternative 'Reminders of Michael history' section, for those of us who are non-technically minded. (Maybe only me!)

I understand, but were in unique times where I have to put the whole of MJJC first rather than one forum with a few threads that were being used, traffic is dropping and once the trial is over I envision this to drop even further, so I must make plans to cope with this down turn and make whats left look busy or members will simply either not go there or worse and is the case - leave.
I am however willing to offer a small token, let me know here which of the threads are of importance, I will merge them rename it to the MJ memorabilia thread and sticky it to the Michaelmania forum, that way you still have your go to point.

Sadly, I think I'm feeling too 'battle weary' to think very positively at the moment. Everything around Michael seems to be such a fight...the endless court cases, the album / estate / family controversies, and in the meantime 'little bits of Michael' seem to slip down between the cracks and die.
I can understand that there will be quieter corners on the Board, especially while the AEG trial is ongoing, and I'm sure it will happen again if the Wade accusations come to court, as those are the areas that people are looking for 'news about. But if you just want to 'remember the time' there are few places to go these days. Memorabilia 'news ' is very episodic, as it just depends on new items or videos surfacing, so it ends up in a multiplicity of unrelated threads.
Maybe resurrecting the 'Latest purchase' thread and having another general thread for 'Memorabilia news' would cover it? I don't really know.........
I'd be glad to know what other members think. Maybe no-one else is interested.......?

Just a little snippet for UK viewers this week: Channel 4's 'Four Rooms' programme will include someone who wishes to sell 'hats once owned by Michael Jackson'. Friday 23rd August., 8.00 pm.
(Four Rooms involves four dealers who are given the opportunity to bid on unusual items, anything from antiques to works of art and memorabilia. The 'Abbey Road' Street name tiles were recently sold on this programme)
I'll add this to the TV thread (if I can find it) , but It would be nce to add it in 'Memorabilia News / General / Miscell/ whatever you'd like to call it, when you've had a chance to think about what might work!
