I was referring to the game of Football (which you Americans incorrectly refer to as Soccer), rather than the game American's refer to as 'Football', which was actually derived from Rugby - a totally different sport! Perhaps Americans shouldn't call it Football after all, it's kinda dumb, right?! :tongue:
Of course proper Football, not Americanised Rugy, is also watched in the USA but it's not nearly as popular. (Yes that's the proper English spelling of Americanised, not the Americanised version which is spelled with a 'z' instead of an 's'.)

After I posted yesterday I went into my local shop and sure enough there were cardboard cutouts from Pepsi promoting the FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) World Cup. Zero chance of Pepsi UK promoting MJ cans.
