My Meeting with "The Ines"
I was so honoured to meet Ines Markeljevic on October 31st, 2009, I was devastated to say the least about Michael, I had no good MJ fan-mliy around me to help me get through the unbearable pain of missing him. I was so lost out no where there was this Halloween Event celebrating Michael's favorite day, I took it as a sign and went alone. I felt compelled to go to this particular event for some un-known reason, no one would go with me and I didn't let that stop me. There was a Michael Jackson "Look-A-Like" and Dance Contest in this event, and "This Is It" had just come out ! I had no idea what else to expect except ALL Michael ALL night and it was exactly what I needed ! I danced all night and never sat down ofcourse, I pulled my best Michael poses and moves (not well possibly). There was Dance Troops, Dancers, and Look a Likes wall to wall, it was so beautiful to see and I was at peace listening and being surrounded by him sing throughout the Hotel in downtown Toronto, that would never have done this for Michael before. I felt content and an overwhelming emotion that Michael was allowed to take over a big name Hotel in 2009 in Canada knowing they never would had done this before when he was alive ! A victory for Michael in every sense of the word and I was a part of it !

It came to the Dance portion of this event and I got close to the front as I could get to see everything and everyone try to imitate Michael with everything they had ! They began to introduce the Guest Judges for the event and there she was Ines Markeljevic ! I had just been reading and learning about "Thrill The World" for my MJJC research and here she was right in front of me, I didn't even know she would be there ! I ofcourse started to really flip out by this point ! I could not wait for the Judges to finish so I could meet her. I really tried to contain my joy, and for me that is a huge deal, when I am so excited to see her in person, ask her questions and talk about Michael and Thrill The World !! She was Canadian like me and I was so proud that she had created Thrill The World and the world records she broke for Michael Jackson ! I told her how much I loved her, how proud I was and how I was a true Michael Jackson fan. She was so sweet, so nice and so open to the hyper crazy MJ fan jumping around and hugging her all night for no reason at all !! I couldn't stop myself, I tried but I was so happy to be at this event like I never lived before ! I told her I was apart of a GINORMOUS MJ Community (did not claim MJJC just in case she refused) and that I was wondering if she would mind an Interview for this Commnuity and the Fans, she said yes ! Then I knew exactly why I was meant to come to this special event and that it was Michael brought me to Ines ! Just recently Ines called me out of the blue, to let me know some things she was doing in the future as far as Press related events. I took it again as a sign again and I ofcourse flipped out because, it was "The Ines" that is what I call her, and asked her again for the interview for this MJJCommunity and she said yes !! I am blessed and I am honoured to ask you all what you guys think of this, and if you would like to ask her any questions about how she began her pure and spiritual LIGHT work for Michael Jackson !! She truly loves him just like we do and I am here today with her sharing the amazing stories of people that are actually doing their LIGHT work in the world for Michael Jackson !!

Ines Markeljevic the founder and creator of "THRILL THE WORLD"

Ines began dancing, in front of the TV, at age 3 to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Her formal dance career began at age 16 at Eastwood Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario. It was here that Ines first learned the choreography for “Thriller” from her dance teacher Janis Price. Ines then taught the dance to other dance and drama students to perform it for the Halloween Spirit Assembly.
Ines completed her dance studies at York University. She went on to become a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, a CAN-FIT-PRO Fitness Instructor Specialist and a dance instructor and choreographer of hip hop, salsa and contemporary dance. Her choreography for Mambo Mosaic, a 32-person Salsa Chess Game, premiered at the Canada Salsa Congress 2006. Her kids dance company, Lil’ Miss Fitz, won gold at Stomp 2007.
Since daring to inspire the world to dance, Ines has been blessed to travel around the world. She hopes to continue good fortune, sharing her joy of dance with people everywhere. So if you think you can’t dance… Ines is here to take on the challenge and show you that anyone can dance!

What is Thrill The World?
Thrill The World is an annual worldwide simultaneous dance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Every October, since 2006, Funky Zombies across the globe gather to synchronize their watches and dance to the greatest selling record of all time – Michael Jackson’s Thriller!
Volunteer event organizers in cities around the world organize events using the Thrill The World leaders manual and Thrill The World tool box.
Anyone can organize an event! No age requirement or experience necessary! And there is no limit to the number of events in each city!
Each event raises money for a local or not-for-profit charity of their choice.
