I see the word has not spread in the MJ fan community about this annual Prince VS Michael Jackson event, its funny how every year the word spreads among the bumpsquad though. Hope those of you in LA could come out yesterday and last week to this event.
I got to attend this event in minneapolous in 2004, tickets are usually $10 if you are on the bumpsquad list (or $11 or $15). DJ spinna sets the tone, i got the chance to jam with the rudeboy spinna in london last year, well worth going.
usually bumpsquaders just need to email soul slam or Raul with their name and ask to be on the Bumpsquad list.
here are some memories from last year, while i'm in the mood. can't wait to see Prince in dublin soon and michael at the 02 arena this year. i have too many photos most of them are on P forums but here is what i can right now...enjoy:

Disciple. It draws upon a couple thousand people annually.

producers/DJ's/Remixers in today's musical arena.
With so much studio work, it's a marvel Spinna travels as much as he does.
The constant, globe-trotting performances he's become equally famed for have
brought the DJ as far as Iceland, Australia, and South Africa as well
as countless jaunts through England, Europe and the U.S.
Not to forget, his hugely successful tours of Japan, where Spinna is held in
the highest regard throughout the country for his craft in music.
He has produced numerous tracks and remixes for notable artists such as
Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, De La Soul, Mos Def, Mary J.

random nostalgia, has earned him the honor of sharing stages with
some of his greatest inspirations, including: Roy Ayers, Talib Kweli,
Lauryn Hill, Ray Charles, Common, Stevie Wonder, Cut chemist and many
more.
Jeremy spends most of his time now hosting his radio show, Branches,
on 89.9 KCRW & DJing his weekly 5 year running event, Afro Funk'.
