Funny... some of you say Janet likes to distant herself, and pretend shes the normal Jackson... you woulda thought she would have stayed clear of the trial, since she didn't want to be associated with Michael at all.

Why is Janet always looked at as the evil Jackson by some MJ fans... I mean jeeze, what has she really done?

Janet has never 'dogged' Michael or disowned him. You act like Janet is some cold heartless beyatch who just wants all of his achievements. I mean please... Janet has always said Michael is the greatest entertainer this generation has ever seen, and one of the greatest artists/entertainers to walk the face of the earth. She never insults him. Perhaps her stories add a bit of normality to the ever so criticized lifestyle she and her family gets given by the media. Janet did Scream with Michael, for a reason. To show she is sticking by her brother. She could have said no... that wouldnt be good for my press. And that t-shirt was worn for a reason, she was aware of the press it would get, when Jonathan Ross asked about it she said nodded when he said 'you were aware of the repercussions'. Janet has her ways of staying by her brothers side. She doesn't talk about him because she knows the press will twist her words, and when she does talk about him its not in an evil way.

Be honest, are some of you jealous of Janet though? That's the feeling I get. I think some Michael fans maybe a little jealous that Michael is not the only superstar in the family. Like i've said several times, I do not like most of Janet's fans because from what i've seen they are jerks, plain and simple but for the most part, I think Janet is alright. I used to be a bigger fan of hers, not so much anymore though but I do get the feeling that some Michael fans feel that MJ is the only one with talent in the Jackson family (yes he's the most talented, but he's not the only one with talent) and can't stand to see another Jackson doing well.

I don't get it either. I love Michael he has been my ultimate artist since birth:wub: and I became a huge Janet fan in my teens^_^, and shes my favourite female performer... I never really even knew fan bases had these kind of wars, especially when they are siblings:wacko:... I think its just fans vs fans, rather than their feelings towards Janet or Michael.

I don't know why some Janet fans insult Michael, and I hate it when they do. And I don't know why some Michael fans insist on putting Janet down all the time, treating her like shes a criminal or a disgrace to the Jackson name or something. I really don't know what the heck is going on with some fans. I mean The Jacksons are probably the most scrutinized family in show business and the media thrashes them all the time, and how can you have a love for one and not atleast respect the other... Making up things, and going along with tabloid gossip, and degrading a sibling of the artists page your on, is pretty disrespectful if you ask me... Thats really sad to hear. I am a very big fan of Janet.....I've loved her for years and I never-ever felt less about Michael (or Janet for that matter).

I see them as two different artists and the fact they are related makes it even more fun because especially in the 90's they had healthy competition going on!!

JANET IS HIS LITTLE SISTER... She KNOWS Michael, ... SHE KNOWS MICHAEL THE PERSON, rather than the personality. I hate how some of you are trying to act like she is some evil backstabber. She has never done anything to Michael in the public eye. Shes never bad mouthed him, or anything. She doesnt talk about him for HIS own protection. She knows how the media twist things she says, so keeping quiet is the only way - not giving them anything to hang on to... but Janet does defend her brother. He is her inspiration, she has said that endless times, when she did her video countdown, he was all over it, when Jonathan Ross said Michael seems like he needs help and mentioned his appearance, she was quick to announce her brother is FINE and has vitiligo and it annoys her when people say he bleached his skin, she said she doesnt like when people say that about him.

Please dont try and act like Janet is some evil woman, because she is not. She loves MICHAEL, she grew up with him, she is his sister... some of you act like you know Michael more than she does. And that is utter nonsense. Michael is her older brother who she loves dearly, she was there linking his arm in hers entering that court room , in front of the world, standing by her beloved brother, and staying by him when he needed love and family most. I think its disgusting how some of you talk about her, like she is some evil being against Michael. Its ridiculous.

People need to stop putting off what fans do or say, onto the artist, themselves. Michael NOR Janet can help what their fans believe or don't believe. Janet has done absolutely NOTHING WRONG to her family, let alone her brother Michael; and vice versa. That family's love and unity should be the only thing shining through for all to see. May it be media-heads, fans, non-fans, and/or simple folks, the love and true earnesty between the Jacksons should be most important.

If you can't get with the artistic views of Janet, then so be it. Same goes for any other artist. But quit trying to take away the fact that Janet has made her presence known and felt throughout the world, just as Michael has. And she doesn't seem (in my opinion anyway) like she is condesending or the likes when it comes to her brother and/or family as a complete whole. To me, her brothers (esp. Michael) are her inspirations beyond any other being in this world. She has idolized her brother's talent and character more than ANY other Jackson sibling to date. No matter how much success or downfalls Michael has had, Janet (if not in person) seemed like she was right there by his side. No one knows differently, because you are NOT in the woman's mind. No one honestly knows what that woman has dealt with mentally when it comes to her family. We can only guess, but should not judge, and that is what I am seeing in this thread (and many others) to date.

Continue to go off what you read, hear, and/or etc. about Janet Jackson as factual, if you will. But know that you're coming across just as hypocritical as all the media-heads you so condemn for doing to wards Michael Jackson. This goes for some (if not most) Janet Jackson fans as well.

Again, if you don't care for the woman artistically, then you simply don't. Janet is not for you and I am sure the lady is not losing sleep concerning your thoughts on her. But one thing you can not take away from her is the mere fact that she has to have (at the very least) some type of talent, or she would not have the status that she has in the music world today. I love both Mike and Janet, though I may own more MJ CD's than Janet's, it doesn't waiver how I feel about them both. And I would NEVER pit the two of them against each other. They are a family, a unit of everlasting love and I will forever have MUCH RESPECT FOR BOTH....
