Have you got T25 yet?/Went a little crazy...

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

By the way, why is the Zombie cover more expencive than the other one? At least here it is.

The one I got (with zombie cover) is some kind of special edition or something. It has a booklet with the lyrics and lots of pics in it.

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

^So you bought Classic edition, right?

I bought all 3 :p and getting the vinyl and Japanese edition later :D

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

^^Yep, the classic one.

Wait, There's 3 different versions? I thought there was only 2.

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

Ok GUESS WHAT. I HAD TWO THRILLERS NOW I HAVE ONE AND IM OUT THE DOOR TO BUY ANOTHER. MY MOTHERS BIRTHDAY IS SUNDAY SO I DECIDED ALTHOUGH I WANTED TO JUST ADD ON BUT I ALREADY MESSED UP AND OPENED 2 THRILLERS SO I WAS LIKE ILL JUST GIVE IT TO MY MAMA and so i did just now. so i figure thats gonna be 3 in this household but anyway every little bit counts in sales for t25.

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

Doesn't the deluxe edition have a different kind of cd case too?

Hard to say, because the deluxe is the only one I have opened. Other 2 are still nicely sealed :) But yes Deluxe's cd case is a little bit different than a normal one.

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

Yeah, the Deluxe edition is still all sold out here, and that's the one I want. And I'm not buying one version now and another one later either, because... that's not right lol. Not for me, anyway.

Even the regular one is now gone at Target.

Sigh. I guess my difficulty in getting T25 is good news for MJ.

I did, however, buy a fedora at Target as compensation. Doesn't technically help MJ, but dammit if I don't look awesome in it.

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

I bought the zombie cover thinking it was the deluxe I think. The copy I have has the zombie cover, has a hard back, has a booklet inside and the cds slip in the front and the back of the cover, anyone know? I don't want to go and buy the other cover version to find that isn't the deluxe 1 either, its so confusing.
I'm getting the lp version though tomorrow definitely

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

This is crazy. I went to target, walmart, circuit city, and best buy and came home empty handed. I didn't think that they would sale as fast where I lived but I was WRONG!

First stop was Circuit city. Now they had the delxue and that plain ccity exclusive one but I wanted the zombie cover non deluxe. So I left there and off to best buy I go. Best buy was sold OUT except for 2 plain best buy exclusives left and while I was there another women was there looking for one and by the time I left it was 1 left in the store:lol:.
So off I go to target and the whole space is empty. So I as the man and he goes to the shelf looks it up and BAM they sold out. I leave store saying "this is crazy" that ppl are buying up thrilller like this. So off I go to walmart and they are sold out of the deluxe and only have 1 plain cover (which I didn't want) and 5 fan packs (which dude tried to sell me like it was deluxe, he ain't hardcore so didn't know it didn't have the booklet, but he did say he got 1 from circuit city:lol:). And again I'm like "this is crazy." So I head home empty handed everyone.

And the moral of the story children is, when michael freakin Jackson release a freakin album YOU freakin have your butt at the freakin store ON THE FIRST day of freakin releasal with your money ready to buy that freakin ALBUM. Lesson learned.

And I can't imagine what's gonna happen when the new album comes out. People gonna be throw'n bows.:rollin:

I will be ordering the zombie cover online. But to be honest this is great and I ain't even mad. Rock on Michael, Rock on!:punk:

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

Does it open up like a book (and not like a regular jewel/plastic case)? do the CDs load in from the top into an envelope like pouch on either side? then it's the deluxe

Yes it does have a pouch inside the front and back and opens up like a book. Thanks. Btw the HMV store near me are putting their lps on display on friday so anyone who has had trouble finding the lp might want to have a look in their local store to see if its the same case

Edit: I got the lp version today! I thought it was going to be a thin lp but theres 2 that are in the package, you open it like a book and in the middle theres a picture of michael surrounded by the zombies. Underneath each side of the image are the lps.

Re: Have you got Thriller 25 yet?

Hey does anyone have any clue what the Thriller [25th anniversary edition BONUS TRACK] edition is for Circity city's website? Has anyone one ordered it or know anything about about it. It's $17.99. The upc # is different from all the other different editions and is higher priced then the regular plain & zombie edition (for $11.99) but lower costing then the deluxe (for $19.99). So I'm trying to figure out what they mean by bonus track. I don't think it's the wanna be startin somethin mix for $6 more dollars when you can get that for $11.99. So what could it be?? Also there is not picture or track listing of this bonus track edition on the circuit city website.

I am gonna order it and the zombie cover and try to get as much info from the outside. If I think it has a real bonus track that no one knows about I'm gonna keep it. If I think this has the the same stuff as the zombie edition then I'm not opening it and will send it back and keep the zombie edition.

Here is the link: http://entertainment.circuitcity.com..._id=P+++++4576

Re: Went a little crazy...

I am going to merge this with the existing thread 'have you got T25 yet?'.

im starting to like the beat it to the beat to it to me is better and my mom loves beat it!!! i think its one of her favorites she said she tryed out for drill team to that song!!! shes only 37 by the way.

i take also the Deluxe Thriler 25th Edition, very good packaging

all 3 editions (classic, zombie, deluxe) comes sealed or not ?

Got me all 3 editions, the two 2 days before and the deluxe today I am  Plan to buy the deluxe again sometime later :punk:MJ GREEK FAN PROUD AND CRAZY !

Just received it in the mail today. Gotta say, the presentation is beautiful. Loving the photo gallery and artwork. And the remixes sound way better on my stereo than they did on the computer. Although I still have the same opinion on them: they're all good except for Beat It 2008. TGIM 08 is sooo much better in CDQ. Loving the overall package. I can see why so many non-fans want it too.

I do not for the life of me understand why Michael Jackson would trash his own masterpiece with the likes of Fergie and Will.I.Am. The Akon cut is not worth mentioning and frankly, I will content myself with the real Thriller. Why doesn't Michael just create something new instead of cheating past creative juggarnauts?

I'm just wondering.. Who was NOT planning on getting THRILLER 25, that after the promotions, and/or closer to the release you changed your mind??

cuz I know several fans were like 'no, I'm not getting it'...

At first I didn't really think I wanted to buy the album. But after listening to the remixes many times on the radio, I changed my mind. So yesterday I got myself the hardback deluxe version, and I definitely don't regret the buy.
