Re: appleheads!

i'm about to bring the mood down to a whole nother level. this is your warning.

Ever met him in real-life?: Yes, twice.

I first met Michael in 96 at Disneyland. My family and I noticed that people were whispering and crowding around a certain area and we were wondering what was up. Someone told my dad, "Michael Jackson is here!" and we were like "What? The Michael Jackson?" It's so weird because he seemed so unreal... like you could really meet MJ?

Anyway, eventually we were able to actually see him and ask for an autograph. When I was a kid I bugged my dad all the time, telling him that MJ was my real dad, so when we got up to him my dad told him, "My daughter thinks you're her real father." and Michael smiles and says "No kidding? What year were you born?" and I told him 1988. Then he raised his eyebrow and asks me what my mom's name is and meanwhile my mom is like :D and my brothers and dad are like :O I told him my mom's name and he puts his hand on his chin as if he were thinking of the possibility and then he and my mom burst in laughter. :') Then he signed my Mickey ears and gave me a hug and I told him he gives big hugs like Polar Bears (I have no idea what I meant by that) and he giggled and put my ears on for me. :')

Then later on when I was in high school he was in Vegas and I went for my birthday, and my friend and I found out where he was staying and there were a few other fans there just talking and congregating and whatnot. We were out there for awhile and finally Michael came out and actually talked to us. There were only about a dozen of us but he actually held a conversation with each and every one of us and thanked us for waiting for him. When he came to me I asked him if he remembered me and he said he was sorry that he didn't and I said "You hug like Polar Bears" and he thought for a moment then his eyes got real big and he said "Oh you're my daughter I remember now!" and we both laughed and everyone was looking like WTF lol. Then he gives me a hug and says something along the lines of "My little polar bear! You got so big! How are you doing?" and I told him I was getting ready for film school and we talked for about 5 to 10 mins before he went on to the next fan. He got one of his people to get my address and he sent me a camera and and a some of his favorite movies for the next school year. :') He told me to take care and that he'd see me later but I never saw him after that. I still keep in touch with some of the fans I met in LV and he actually called a couple of them to check in on them and sent another girl a drawing he made of her since she gave him a drawing of him. Apparently he had the memory of an elephant and always remembered a lot of his fans if he saw them more than once. :'( (Btw it's really hard for me to talk about him in past tense :()

this person's mom met him earlier too

Ever been to one of his concerts?: No :( I wanted to go to his History concert out here but my parents felt I was too young, yet the next year they let me go see NSYNC live! FML but my mom was pregnant with me when she went to his Bad concert and got to meet him and he rubbed her belly and I kicked :) (she brags about that all the time)

Re: appleheads!

I love how when Mike grabbed his crotch, he was grabbing SOMETHING. A nice 8" python. If most guys were to attempt that, it would look like they were fumbling for their car keys

EDIT: Oh, I realize it wasn't your story. It's a beautiful one, though. I never got the chance :( I often fantasize about what it would be like had I did. I honestly wouldn't know what to say to him. I don't even know if I could have spoke. I just would have been a big pile of nothingness, lol. He'da been like "WTF's wrong with this chick?"

I never got to see him in concert either. When I was younger, I really wasn't into going to concerts. The only person I had seen was Gloria Estefan (and she ROCKED BTW). All together in my lifetime I've only seen Gloria Estefan twice and Toby Keith. Then when I got older and actually started to get more interested into the concert scene, I started thinking of all the people that would be cool to go see. Sadly, I never thought of Michael because he wasn't really doing anything at the time, you know? Now I think of how neat it would have been had a surprise US leg been added after the London concerts. I so would have went. My brother's ex-girlfriend went to see Janet a few months ago but she took her cousin instead of me :( I've missed out on Michael I am so not missing out on Janet. This I vow. It was so stupid of me to take Michael for granted. I guess I just thought he'd always be around. I learned my lesson.
