Let's see if there are any discoverable connections between Sony + Frank Dileo. Sony + Tohme. Sony + AEG. (see bolded parts of the article, below)

FYI, "Universal Republic Records" is a division of Universal Music Group, ... Global Partnership Between Nickelodeon and the Sony Music Label Group.

"Sony/ATV Music Publishing is a joint venture created in 1995 between the Sony Corporation and trusts formed by the late pop giant Michael Jackson. But it also has deals with the likes of Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora.

But the jewel in Mr. Bandier’s crown is Sony/ATV’s ownership of the rights to more than 250 Beatles songs. Next month, the digitally remastered Beatles albums will be released the same day as the introduction of “The Beatles: Rock Band,” an interactive video game that will allow players to relive some of the group’s greatest performances.

“The fourth quarter will belong to the Beatles,” Mr. Bandier predicts.

Less clear, however, is what will happen to the Sony/ATV venture itself. While Sony executives and lawyers for Mr. Jackson’s estate say they see no changes afoot, the structure of the partnership would be altered if the estate put its stake on the block.

Sony would have first-refusal rights if that happens, and company executives say they would be interested in increasing their holdings. In the interim, the playing field is still Mr. Bandier’s, which his supporters say they find comforting.

Latoya Jackson: Sony Murdered Michael Jackson
July 13. 2009
michael-jackson-7-10-09-2.jpg
Michael Jackson
LaToya Jackson, the sister of the late pop singer, Michael Jackson, who died last month under suspicious circumstances, did an interview with Britain’s News of the World paper, on July 11, 2009, proclaiming Michael Jackson was murdered for his 50% interest in the Sony Music catalog. His half is said to be valued at least $1 billion dollars. Sony, with its plummeting sales, are desperate for cash.

Haven’t I been stating that very same thing on this website regarding me and Madonna/Sony for a couple years now, in that they have been trying to murder me over my Copyrighted Catalog.
Before the stealing started, they invited me to Sony and I did not go - they had famous producers affiliated with them and Madonna, contact me and I did not respond (click here).
On separate occasions, Miami Kabbalah members, on Madonna’s instruction, have made attempts on my life, over my valuable copyrights, via sending individuals from the Miami Kabbalah Center to try and run me over with vehicles in broad daylight (an Anthony Pellicano tactic, who was her private investigator before he was imprisoned).
michael-jackson-7-1-09-3.jpg
Madonna is affiliated with Sony through her lawyer, Robert Jacobs, which they both share regarding copyright management and she also has a side deal with Sony/Ericsson for her music.
She gained criminal access to my Copyrighted Catalog through the hosting company of her official website Madonna.com, named Digilink, who were busted hacking into my business computers and copying the Copyrighted Catalog they forwarded to her, which she illegally used without permission.
howard-stringer-1-31-09.JPG
The very questionable CEO of Sony, Howard "Satan" Stringer, is happy Jackson is gone
I’ve lived in Miami for over two decades, no one broke into my home, mugged me, tried to run me over with vehicles or assaulted me in any fashion, until this Madonna mess started.
Then all this criminal activity, some of it of a very violent nature, was aimed at me, in ongoing criminal misconduct, commissioned by that foul old lunatic Madonna.
sam-cooke-7-13-09.jpg
Sam Cooke
Hollywood is still the same old awful, prejudiced, racist, debauched place it always was, full of corruption. For years, many have insisted, soul singer Sam Cooke was murdered, because he was a black man that started his own record and music publishing company, seeking to go independent from Hollywood and they killed him for it. I see things haven’t changed.
howard-stringer-7-13-09.jpg
Howard Stringer
Since Howard Stringer, became the CEO of Sony in 2005, after working in the company for over 20 years, the corporation has taken a precipitous decline in morality, decency, legality and common sense.
Stringer has tried to steal everything in sight from my Copyrighted Catalog, the other half of the Sony catalog from Michael Jackson, dozens of patents, to even the Nintendo Wii, incredulously claiming two years after it was released and became a global smash, that Sony thought of it first, but just didn't do it, which is an absolute lie, as they have no PREEXISTING copyrights or patents to back up these envious, spoiled sport claims.
sony-7-13-09.jpeg
He is a corrupt, jealous, resentful animal that can’t stand to see anyone else do anything of merit. He is also a desperate wretch, willing to do anything to increase sales, even if it means engaging in corporate fraud and massive SEC violations.
Madonna’s greed and lust for fame and success, is in fact worst than Stringer’s. No one should want to get ahead so badly that murdering off innocent people for their business assets becomes an option.
I will nail Michael Jackson's killers
*****'s heartbroken sister La Toya vows to prove star's death was foul play. GRIEF-TORN La Toya Jackson last night dramatically vowed revenge on the people she claims MURDERED her brother Michael...
La Toya's astonishing revelations come just two days after the chief of Los Angeles police admitted they were investigating *****'s death as possible homicide.
In a moving exclusive four-hour interview with the News of the World, grieving La Toya - the closest person to Michael from the whole tight-knit Jackson clan - revealed she and the family are convinced her brother's apparent drugs overdose was "foul play" by a shadowy group out to get their hands on his £1 billion fortune.
"Michael WAS murdered," declared La Toya, 53. "And we don't think just one person was involved. Rather, it was a conspiracy of people. I feel it was all about money. Michael was worth well over a billion in music publishing assets and somebody killed him for that. He was worth more dead than alive."...
"A couple of years ago Michael told me he was worried that people were out to get him. He said, 'They're gonna kill me for my publishing. They want my catalogues and they're gonna kill me for these.'...

http://www.zimbio.com/Dr+Tohme+Tohme/articles/p7iGOAIfStU/AP+Interview+Jackson+adviser+Tohme+breaks

Dr. Tohme Tohme vividly remembers the first time he met with Michael Jackson to discuss the pop star's finances. It's not the money talk that stays with him now, but his enchantment at entering Jackson's world of love.
"I saw how kind he was and what a wonderful human being," Tohme said in an interview. "I saw him with his children and I had never seen a better father. ... I decided to do what I could to help him."

Tohme, a financier with a murky past, had been contacted by Jackson's brother, Jermaine, who asked if Tohme could help to save Jackson's beloved Neverland ranch from foreclosure. Tohme said he traveled with Jermaine to Las Vegas, where Jackson was living after years of wandering the world following his acquittal on child molestation charges.

They bonded instantly. "For the last year and a half I was the closest person to Michael Jackson," Tohme said. He contacted Tom Barrack, the chairman of Colony Capital and a close personal friend. "He was hesitant to get involved, but I said, 'Let's go see Michael,'" Tohme recalled.

After the meeting he said Barrack, who was impressed with Jackson's "intelligence and focus," bought the note for Neverland. But that was just the beginning of a business relationship that culminated in the London concerts that were to have begun next week.
Wearing a suit with no tie, Tohme, Jackson's last business manager and spokesperson, granted his first interview Friday to The Associated Press in the office of a lawyer friend.

Tohme, listed in public records as being in his late 50s, has been portrayed as something of a mystery man in the Jackson brain trust.
"I hate the words 'mystery man,'" he said. "I'm a private man. A lot of people like the media and I don't. I respect the privacy of other people but lately nobody respects mine."

As he spoke, his cell phone rang constantly. He took only a few calls, one of them from Jesse Jackson. He has been stung by allegations that he was involved with the Nation of Islam, which he said was untrue. "I have nothing against anybody," he said, "But I don't know anyone from the Nation of Islam. When I took over Michael Jackson's affairs, I fired some people from the Nation of Islam."

It is known that he is of Lebanese descent. His double name — pronounced toh-MAY' — is not uncommon in the Middle East. But he declined to go into detail about his own life and career other than to say he is a U.S. citizen who was raised in Los Angeles and, "I'm a self-made man. I'm in the world of finance." "I don't want to talk about me," he said. "I'm a nobody. I'm not important. I want to talk about Michael Jackson."
At times he appeared on the verge of tears as he discussed Jackson's death, saying, "It's unbelievable ... I'm devastated ... God bless his soul."

He said that by talking about Jackson, he was fulfilling one of the star's wishes.
"He always said to me, 'I want people to really know who I am after I'm gone.'"
He would only briefly discuss Jackson's finances. During his time with the superstar, Tohme said, he was paid nothing but was able to negotiate lucrative business deals that would secure the future of Jackson's children. He followed a long line of business managers and spokespeople who had come and gone from Jackson over the years. In the final year, he said he played a pivotal role in turning things around.
His negotiations for Jackson included a Broadway show with the Nederlander organization, an animated TV show based on "Thriller," a line of clothing including "moonwalk shoes," and more.

He said he was working with others to renegotiate the terms of Jackson's main assets, his share of the Sony-ATV Music Publishing Catalog — which includes music by the Beatles — and the catalog of Mijac, the company that controls Michael Jackson's own music.

"I am not in the music business. I'm a stranger to this business," Tohme said, noting that he had stiff competition from others who wanted to take over Jackson's finances.
"I built a fence around Michael to keep people out," he said, acknowledging that he cut costs by firing many members of the Jackson staff, including security guards. And he twice fired the children's nanny, Grace Rawaramba, on Jackson's orders.
"I was trying to do what we could to maximize his profits and minimize spending. I wanted to find a way to reel in all the loans he had.

"We had an agreement," Tohme continued. "I would never interfere with his creative decisions and he wouldn't interfere with my business decisions."
Tohme said he abandoned everything he was doing in his own life to concentrate his time and effort on Jackson's affairs. He points with pride to the crown jewel of his and the new Jackson team's efforts: the contract with AEG for concerts at the 02 arena in London.

He said Jackson was looking forward to the concerts because he wanted his children to see him perform. Like others before him, Tohme was caught up in the excitement of Jackson's world. He traveled with him to London, where they saw the play "Oliver" and were mobbed by fans. "I had never seen fans who loved anyone so much and he loved them just as much," Tohme said.

Tohme uses the title "Dr." and apparently has a medical degree, though there is no record that he has practiced in the United States. He said he was convinced that Jackson was in perfect health the last time he saw him, two days before he died. He said the star kept himself and his children on a healthy diet, never ate red meat, didn't drink and, as far as he knew, never took drugs.

He said he is disappointed that Jackson won't be buried at Neverland but hopes that may change: "He deserves to be buried in the wonderful world he created."
In Jackson's final months, Tohme said they talked about his wish to create "a special place ten times bigger than Graceland" where fans could come to see Jackson's memorabilia and awards. Jackson even talked about creating a veritable city for children.

"He wanted to be remembered as a great human being and he wanted to create as many happy places for the children of the world as he could," said Tohme.
The day Jackson died, as Tohme rushed to the hospital unsure if his friend was alive or dead, he said he remembered precious moments: Jackson bringing his children to Tohme's house for Thanksgiving dinner; Jackson and his children singing "Happy Birthday" to Tohme on the phone; the last time he saw Jackson at Staples Center, rehearsing for his big comeback.

And he remembered Jackson's last words to him that day: "I love you."

That is extremely interesting. How many Beatles projects went through when MJ was trying to make some cash off of it?

I have no idea. I cannot remember hearing much of anything about new Beatles projects in several years. Have you?

Victoria, yes there is still alot of prejudism alive. Sexism, racism all of that. It's right in front of people's eyes on MTV. That is why I don't watch MTV. I can't stand looking at what is being shown and how deliberate it is. They try to give an illusion of being non racist and non sexist meanwhile creating a pattern of mindset to children that in order to become successful, if you are black you better follow the anti-female gangsta trend. If you a female you better wear skimpy clothing and do as you are told. It's a formula based on what they WANT to sell people not what DOES sell because if the whole format changed into let's think pre all of that then it too would sell.

Sir Mix Alot, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Nirvana, Joan Jett, The Beatles, Elvis, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix

All of those sold well. So never ever believe that they do this because it's a formula that sells and it's the only one that will. They push it out there, make sure it's in heavy rotation to push their way of thinking to children and teens that will in return be heavily influenced to mimick behaviors shown to them on tv.

I remember seeing this before, and thought it was just misinformation. Strange, though. Tohme was the "doctor" who was present? It's probably just wrong information. . . . .

Jackson is said to have formally notified associates last month that Dr Tohme, who paved the way for the deal for the This Is It tour, was not representing him after he received a cease-and-desist letter for the O2 residency from AllGood Entertainment, the company that had represented the Jackson 5. ... What I would really like to know is if there are any photos or footage of that press conference at the hospital that show Dileo and Thome together?...........I agree that Victoria's often posted question of WHY the heck was Thome there anyway is very important. We keep wanting to link everyone together, which is oh so hard............but, did Dileo (who has consistently offered disdain and distrust for Thome) talk with/hug/interact with Thome at all at the hospital? We saw Jermaine with Thome, and Jermain with Dileo, but....did these two men interact there? and if so, in what way?

Let's see if there are any discoverable connections between Sony + Frank Dileo. Sony + Tohme. Sony + AEG.

Sounds like a Witch Hunt!
"Let's see if we can force these pieces of the puzzle together" is what it sounds like.

Ya'll desperate for an answer yesterday which I understand as I do too but we just have to wait and let the investigation take its course and stop looking for a scapegoat. The guilty parties WONT escape this and will be punished in one form or another. Im sure all questions will be answered at some point.

Isnt there already a Sony blaming thread here.....or several?

BTW Michael has ALWAYS known about Frank's ties with the Mafia. MJ was interested in the Mafia. This is nothing new.

I think we should just focus on Tohme who is the shadiest character in the group and the most mysterious. Questions like why was he with Jermaine at the hospital despite being fired by MJ are on the right path IMO.

"Witch Hunt" is a pretty strong reaction to what is actually in the thread? Nobody is necessarily blaming Sony, and nobody is "looking for a scapegoat." The title of the thread is "look at Sony," not "blame Sony." (Investigating includes ruling things out, too?) This is the "Investigative Unit." And that is exactly what is being DONE here? It's not really different from other threads?

Yes. I am going to look around for more, maybe longer, vids. I watched this day of, but....haven't really been able to view it since. But, I want to know if they interacted at all, as Dileo has made a case of his dislike for Thome in public since the June 25.

One thing I did notice.....Thome gave Jermaine the 'all too familiar arm grasp' as he walked from the podium.

I noted that "arm-grasp," too. Immediately. Jermaine and Tohme were clearly there TOGETHER. Then, Tohme hugged Latoya, so I assume she knows him, too?

Now check THIS one out. Very strange. Comments, please?

Latoya Jackson: Sony Murdered Michael Jackson

This article is confusing.

Who is talking. Is this Latoya?

Correct me if I am wrong, did she say Madonna tried to kill her over here copyrights.

Copyrights to what (her catalog)?

At this point, I'm chalking it up to misinformation . . . . . ? As in, writer-error? But, "according to Jermaine?" Did Jermaine SAY this. Dunno, for sure.

"Witch Hunt" is a pretty strong reaction to what is actually in the thread?

I'd call it accurate. Using tabloids as resources to prove your point (newsoftheworld) and join the dots that dont necessarily join. Fans have become Tabloid Junkie's trying to find the "truth". You're not going to find it there.

Im not saying lets not investigate every angle but use reliable sources. To me, people are picking stories and linking them with no bases for it.

Here is a longer video, that shows Thome before Jermaine's statements, and also AFTER....which I don't remember seeing before.

He says, after Jermaine leaves the stage,...that Jermaine is the only spokesman for the Jackson family, and that no one else is authorized to make any statements on behalf of the Jackson family.

no interaction between Thome and Dileo that I can see.

We are looking for patterns. "Reliable sources" are pretty much a thing of the past. Even CNN now gets its info from tabloids, and that is well-known. Everytime they say, "sources say," with no name, that is NOT a reliable source. It's hard to tell WHAT is "accurate." It's even hard to tell if a person we see in an interview is telling the truth, or not. This is not "scientific," and we KNOW that. Most of what is done here is throwing out speculations and forming theories. A theory is like a "what if" question, only. Then we discuss and refine. The only alternative now is to leave it alone and wait for some sort of "official report." That is unacceptable to most of us here, and I doubt that an official report will ever come. "Reliable sources" are scarce to nonexistant. So instead, we look for patterns of behavior. Even body-language in interviews and photos. We discard the pieces that don't fit. We revise the theories.

I have advanced training in cultural anthropology, ok? This is what I DO, and I do it very, very well. I analyze texts critically and from a variety of angles. Part of that analysis is trying to discover the veracity of the texts. But also, looking at motive. WHY did a person say this or that thing? Who does the person KNOW, as in, who are the cohorts? We (anthropologists) also use what's called "triangulation" for determining facts. If the same phenomenon occurs in a variety of forms and places, then it's valid enough to consider seriously. I also am educated in media-studies. The lines between tabloids and mainstream news have become impossibly blurred recently. In terms of Michael, TMZ, a tabloid, has been remarkably accurate. Roger Friedman is a tabloid journalist. Quite a bit of what he's reported has proven true. Some of the Jackson family have been going directly to tabloids. A tabloid is still a tabloid. . and so is CNN, unfortunately. We do the best we can, and hopefully with some intelligence.

A theory is a QUESTION. The theories are very fluid and subject to revision, rejection, or can be built upon. Some are dead-ends. Some are fruitful. That's just the way it is.

OK, then. Carry on.

If you haven't seen this site before have a look at it. I've just found it now and am having a browse about it. One possible great little tool on there is it looks like you can create a "map" - on the lines of an ancestry chart - and of who's linked to who.

Thanks. Interesting. What I don't understand is why Tohme was there, at all? Frank was Michael's official manager by then, and Tohme had been fired. The description of the video says:

Statement on the death of Michael Jackson by Jermaine Jackson and Michael Jacksons personal physician, Dr. Tohme. Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, June 25, 2009.

I'm sure that's just an error, though, because Tohme puts "doctor" in front of his name?

Then, the statement at the end. I read this as elevating Jermaine to official and "only" spokesperson. Not sure why HE did this, and not someone from the family? Then, soon after, Jermaine was interviewed at Neverland and made a push for having Michael buried there. I just found it odd that of all people, Tohme was there. And not Randy Phillips, or Dileo, or "other?" (WAS Dileo there, and I missed that?) Maybe because Tohme is friends with Jermaine? Don't know what this all means, though. . . . .
