Exactly! The family needed their privacy. Like I said, the fans already got the public memorial. They need to realize it's not all about the fans and what they want. To the family, he was not Michael the superstar. He was their son Michael, Daddy, their brother Michael, Uncle Michael, etc. the fans don't own any piece of Michael.

That's pathetic. If you love Michael and his music and legacy, then you're a fan, period. It doesn't matter how much shit you own, how much you've followed him around, or camped outside his house, or how much you know about him. I'm still learning a lot about him and I've been a fan for years! I guess in their eyes I'm not a "real fan." Hmph! *sarcasm*

I don't know if I'll watch all the VMAs though...the commercials kill me it's always "AFTER THIS!" and then they keep you holding on. I don't really want to see any of the performances except maybe Jay Z, I'll prolly DVR it and fast forward.
