Anyone elese been noticing how the Beattles and Paul McCartney are being promoted everywhere( in the media, tabloid shows, etc) since Michael was Murdered for owning their copyrights?

im not a fan of macca but they need money and if this the way to do it, pimp hte beatles out. but mike makes ten times as much as they do. and that's after splitting it w/ sony

Yes it is suspect to me, maybe not to you which is fine with me, but to me rather or not they have been planning this for years or not; something still does not sit quit right with me and from the looks of it, I'm not the only fan to feel this way.
 
well maybe if u knew they were planning the rockband and beatles re-issues and promotions years ago (when rockband first came out) then it wouldn't be so conspiracy driven. they need permission from everyone in order to do a projec.t htey don't own their rights so yea....

I don't know anything much about the beatles, I usually turn the station when they are on TV.

I do have a warm spot for the song, "let it be". its both beautiful and sad. imo.

Anyone notice the new Elvis spot on tv? He's in the famous black leather 2 piece suit. I think its been running for only a couple of days. I turn from it before it finishes and do not know exactly what is being promoted?

With Elvis being deceased and our Michael gone, how exactly was this deal made? Did Michael aprrove before june 2009 or was this something the executors negotiated with the presley camp recently? Anybody know?

the presley's have sold their rights to elvis. mj and sony have accuff rose which elvis is featured on. again, it's the execs and sony that can make the decisions
 
why Michael fired Frank back in 1989 ?

and when exactly Frank become agaim Michael's manager in 2009? which month?
 
cuz he was an asshat. he sold stories, w/ mike's permission, but still. once moonwalker didn't sell to mike's expectations, ratfink lideo was let go.

he was brought back as a consultant. somewhere along the line he put a paper in front of mike and became manager. same time as thome and rowe. so who knows

I had no earthly idea, the presley's sold their rights to Elvis? Really? When? Wow. And what is "accuff rose", you lost me, lol?

That one sentence from your post, painted a picture in my head of why the crooks and killers were drugging and poisoning MJ to began with. In that kinda state, there's no clue of what all he may have signed or told them about like private financial records and stuff.

Just my mind racing........again.
 
on the end of the day did Michael give back Paul McCartney's rights or they are still in Michael's hands?


MIchael owns one of the best Elvis' songs (not all Elvis songs). Still before he got married to Lisa.


my only hope is that Branka and MaKain will put everything in order and put on their places all a** after so many years would be awful someone like frank to use Michael on such ugly way :(

Acuff Rose is a massive Country & Western Catalog it contains lots of Elvis songs. MJ was 50% owner with SONY back in 2002. This is also the number one reason MJ could never be broke ever. This is also when the "debt"(assets) started to be screamed by the Media.

Pop superstar Michael Jackson and his partners at Sony Music Entertainment have agreed to buy the legendary country music publisher Acuff-Rose, whose 55,000-song library includes works by Hank Williams, Roy Orbison and the Everly Brothers, seller Gaylord Entertainment Co says.

More than 100 Acuff-Rose songs have been broadcast over the airwaves at least one million times, including "Oh Pretty Woman," made famous by the late Roy Orbison and "Tennessee Waltz," which became a number one hit in 1950 when Patti Page recorded it.

By acquiring 60-year-old Acuff-Rose, Sony/ATV says the ventures adds the oldest country music publisher to the biggest, Tree International, which it acquired in 1989 and which is now known as Sony/ATVTree.

Gaylord is selling Acuff-Rose for $US157 million cash to Sony/ATV, which owns and/or administers the copyrights and catalogs for music by the Beatles, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley and Pearl Jam, among others.

Sony/ATV was formed in 1995 when Sony Music Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) teamed up with Jackson.

It has more than 250,000 songs in its stable.

The notoriously eccentric, one-gloved Jackson stunned the music world in 1985 when he bought the Beatles library, a move that music channel VH1 ranked No. 38 on its "most shocking moments in rock 'n' roll" list.

Atop that chart was the 1980 murder of Beatle John Lennon while No. 2 was the 1993 sexual abuse charges against Jackson.

Gaylord is based in Nashville, Tennessee and owns hotels, golf courses and the world-renowned Grand Ole Opry.

It says it was selling Acuff-Rose so it could focus more on the hospitality industry.

Gaylord says it would use the proceeds to pay off debt and to invest in its hotels, which cater to big conventions.

Gaylord opened a 1,400-room resort near Walt Disney World in Florida earlier this year and is building another large center outside Dallas.

In 1986, CBS Inc spun off its music publishing arm that would later become the cornerstone of Sony Music Entertainment when it was formed in 1989.

Over the years, Sony Music Entertainment has bought the Randy Bachman catalog, which includes "Takin' Care of Business" and the Tom Kelly/Billy Steinberg catalogs, which include megahits "Like a Virgin" and "I Touch Myself".

Sony/ATV bought the Lowery Music library in 1999, adding "Be-Bop-A-Lula" and "Young Love," among others to its list.

Sony Music Entertainment is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America and Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) is owned by Sony Corp.

Gaylord shares were down 4 cents to $US20.80 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

Damn Hemlockdevi! I am almost at a lost for words! My heart just sunk cause this is more and more proof as to why Our Michael is no longer here. How could anybody in the media or members of the Investigative team not see what the motive for Murdering Michael Jackson is?!!!!

The more he had the business sense and Money to purchase very lucrative "Investments", the more he became a target for murder by people in the very industry as he!

All the crooks had to do was wait for the perfect opportunity to align themselves with him again as they plot together to destroy his image and name and ultimately his life.

molestation charges. The ultimate goal was to blow the trial out of the water so Jackson wouldn't
have to face prison time.

It's clear that whether Malnik had any ulterior motives in befriending Jackson, the pop star ended
up believing he was an enemy out to get his Beatles songs. We'll have to wait and see if the
world media continues to eat out of Malnik's hand or if it actually reports the truth about the
relationship and its bitter end.

This makes anyone with money a target. This sounds rather far fetched; especially since after his passing his debts are being paid off and the estate is making even more money.

They didn't 'get' the SONY catalog and they aren't going to. I see no reason murdering him benefited anyone really. They could have had the catalog much more easily had they denied him any work; not allowed him to do the concerts; let him continue to live large; and just let him be drugged out all the time. He would have defaulted on everything and lost the catalogue, Neverland, etc.

They would own it all and Michael would be a piss poor bum on the street with 3 kids in tow.

Your analysis is a very logical one and typical to draw from if this was under normal circumstances but its not.

Many people who believe Michael Jackson was murdered for the Sony Catalogue also believe the Executors will now, with his death and their control of it , sell it back to Sony. They couldn't do that if Michael was alive, because he wasn't selling it all to them.

Hi riviera1992, I don't understand your post? I don't knowingly roll eyes at people on this board. I have only tried to use those emoticons maybe twice and one time I goofed and put the smiley face in the WRong place, so I never went back to using them, not ever since then and that was a very very long time ago.

I am not sure of what you are talking about?

As for catching on? I've been on the train about conspiracy and planned murder since day 1, so again not so sure what you are saying?

considering sony had a chance to buy the cat off mj a few years back dont u think they would have just done it then instead of planning to kil him lol.

Logical but with an unlogical set of complicated circumstances.

In Michael Jackson's lifetime, he held onto this catalogue and would not completely allow Sony to take over all control of it. They could not buy it all from him if he wasn't willing to put it for sale for them to purchase it completely.

My psot never stated Sony planned his murder, but i do believe they surely benefit from it.

This is my analysis and theory. I understand and respect yours may differ.
 
Yeah, i really do not think Sony had a part of this, the only tying factor would be in the next couple of years if we see Sony purchase the catalogue or the executors recommending the sale

sony has an option to buy 25% a few years back as part of the refinancing. they had so many months to take up the option. they didnt.

I think there are many fans who have read and heard in some places that Michael feared for his life because of this catalog and some of it is from his own family (LaToya being one) but I am not sure if these are rumors that were spread via tabloids or 'real' things Michael said. Those people who believe he was murdered for the Sony/ATV catalog could tell you where they got their information from better than I could.

I also think that Michael was very much an insomniac and I also believe that it made him paranoid and irrational at times. This is what happens when you don't sleep long enough. I would think he might say a lot of strange things if he did not sleep for a long time or was possibly under the influence of pain killers which might also alter your mental state.

As I said, I believe my theory to be the correct one here, but others have their own thoughts and we don't really know either way. I have been warned not to be rude or follow others posts so I do not wish to start trouble, but I also think my opinion is as valid as anyone else s here.

When did sony have a chance to buy the catelogue back? From what I've read,and the speech Michael made against Sony, I don't see that Michael would have sold that catelogue to Sony. I think that financial circumstances were created to try and force him to sell it but he didn't

Exactly my point of view as well! It is a known fact in the Entertainment Industry, Sony had been trying to Force MJ to sell. However, I do recall reading something online very similar to what elusive posted about that 25% share, I always questioned rather or not that was true or something "planted"?
 
Oh I absolutely agree with you Moddie---something just does not settle with me that Branca's firm ever represented SONY--IMO that is a conflict of interest. And now the Estate is entertaining bids????
