NO to CARRY ON.
NO to MONSTER.
NO to BREAKING NEWS.

it now seems more likely the fakes are there to reduce the risk of leaks of this album, by causing people to think there is NO point in downloading ANY supposed new MJ tracks. And later perhaps we get told thats what they did to protect the new album's REAL songs.
or they are all mad sony and deaf?

I dont see how they can afford to. They need sales, and considering the uproar in the fan base, they cant be thinking that we'll let this go. That we wont talk to the media, write blogs, tweet like crazy, make this public. Maybe they'll sell a few copies, but talk about bad publicity! Come on, it's Michael Jackson's new album (kinda)! They expect huge sales. And if there's any doubt about the songs, they can forget any future release.
Yeah, they'll have destroyed Michael's legacy, but we all know they dont care about that.

I am going on rehab 2morrow. I am addicted to mjjc and this thread. And overhelmed with this mess happening now. I'm taking my ipod with me, full of real MJ songs. But that's tomorrow ;)

too bad in a way. but it might still be a good idea to videotape a lot of malachi stuff. there might be other similarities (melodys, lyrics) that will match. the chances that a lot of this stuff will disappear are high.

Gonna try to make this my last post regarding this whole... thing:

I think that, in the interest of the community's collective health, all the fans would do well to relax a bit and consider taking a few steps back from this whole thing. Stuff like this just messes with everyone's heads waaaaay too much, and it's caused a LOT of aggression and friction in the community right now. People are yelling at each other, accusing each other and so on, and it's just not right.

I say just let the whole thing rest for a while and listen to some of his old music. That's what I've been doing anyway... I'll listen to the new single and the album when they hit the (virtual?) store shelves. I've seriously had my FILL of snippets, fragments, acapella's, previews, interviews, statements and tweets -- right now they only seem to serve as fuel for the fire, and it's widespread enough as is.

Do you really think that "Carry on" is fake? To me it seems Michael´s voice, especially in the end of the snippet

Yeah, all the Cascio tracks are obviously fake. Methinks they just got Malachi to record them and claim them as Michael for a bit of publicity.

One thing is important…

Listen to the tracks, wait for the single, etc. and MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND don't let other people tell you what to think.

Personally, I don't want to give Sony and The Estate money for this absolute rubbish, I can easily torrent it from the pirate bay for free.

I remixed the original BN song with the acapella song on top and re-leveld it...
Sounds much better and def. it's MJ IMO...

Will someone please tweet Jackie Jackson and let him know we've heard these songs and we know they're fake! He has direct connection to the estate and Sony. I'm too busy to do it now. But they must know we know!

If all of these Cascio songs are fake, then where are the real songs MJ recorded with him?
Isn't it a fact that MJ was there at their home? Do we know that for certain?

that´s exactly what I thought. I can hear MJ´s voice in background... And he says a sentence like "don´t you walk away" and "say goodbye", for me that is MJ´s voice

Everyone it's clear to me now. Here is an overview of which songs are real and which songs are fake.

Real:
- Hold My Hand
- Another Day
- Gangsta
- Much Too Soon
- Love Never Felt So Good
- Do You Know Where Your Children Are

Fake:
- Breaking News
- Monster
- Carry On
- All I Need

In my opinion what happened is that Michael worked on all the fake songs, however he had not finished those songs. The reason why some of the fake songs like 'Carry On' sound more like MJ than the others, is that those songs were more finished than the others. They (Cascio, The Estate, Teddy Riley) worked with what Michael recorded, and the gaps were filled with vocals of an imitator (my guess is Jason Malachi). However this is unacceptable since these songs for the most part (90%) consist of the imitator's voice and not Michael's.
