Michael - The Great Album Debate

Dont laugh at me. Maybe its just me. I like KYHU, maybe i can hear things you guys cant. who knows? Anyways, if you look in the MICHAEL booklet. I found it odd how in Monster it list: Background Vocals: Michael Jackson, James Porte. It has no mention of Lead Vocals.

I wasn't laughing at you, I agree with you.

^^ Well, to be honest, just because a body language expert concludes that Teddy isn't lying, doesn't mean it changes my mind...Teddy wasn't there when those songs were recorded, .....however, Eddie was..

I think Teddy doesn't know Malachi's voice that well, especially getting processed songs with Michael Jackson's voice pasted all over them.

Well, the thing is, Teddy wasn't there....Even the analysis of the vocals can't be 100%, so the only person who actually knows is Eddie and whoever is singing those songs.

If you get this guy to question a fan who flat out believes it's Michael, who says, 'Yes, it's Michael Jackson on those songs', then you'd probably get the same result, a 'hallmark of honesty', as he says...

He needs to question Eddie, really..

I'm confused now, i was expecting the guy to conclude that Teddy was lying, but this wasn't the case at all. So you agree with this video or......?
Thing is, Teddy was lying but not lying at the same time if you know what I mean... "No can can really do a scream like Michael" - damn right, that's why you copy pasted MJ ad libs from older songs?

It's Eddie he should analyse.

I, and a lot of other people, have asked him to analyze Eddie so hopefully he will.

The testatment from the body language expert is not helping or hurting either side. If an opinion from a body language expert is highly reliable, then such expert should be called to examine crime suspects and the opinon resulted should be admissible as evidence.

May be it's just me. But, I don't think it's that easy to tell whether one's being honest by observing how fast he blinked his eyes, how many times his head nods, or whether he talks with palm face up or down.

I'm not discounting the body language expert's creditbility. I'm sure it's a very intriguing discipline. But, one has to acknowledge the many limitations too.

Ah right, now i understand. He indeed copy and pasted his ad libs, but he also say it's Michael's voice on all of those songs, and i am damn sure it's not. I don't even hear Michael on those. So he IS lying there.....but then again, he wasn't in that studio, right?

^^ Exactly....NO ONE was there when those vocals were recorded other than Eddie and the person singing, so, Teddy is ultimately in the same boat as the rest of us. People will either believe what they're told or not...Simple...Everything is hearsay, everything is speculation, no one has proof...We can sit there and say that those comparisons are proof, which to me they are (along with other things I'd consider proof, such as Michael's past studio/work habits, the absence of any type of evidence that Michael had ANYTHING to do with these songs let alone record them, and the fact that these songs sound absolutely nothing like how Michael's ever sounded before, the hallmarks of his voice are all missing), but obviously not enough legally speaking...We all know that...

But, we're all in the same situation....A doubter could say the same thing, 'That's not Michael Jackson on those songs'...and our body language would reflect what we believe, because we actually don't KNOW....

The most vocal anyone has been about these vocals has been through Twitter, and statements, that's it, impossible to tell in that medium if anyone is lying....There hasn't been much said by Eddie or Teddy on tape, as most people have been very silent about it all...

It doesn't change what we hear as much as the statement, the legalities, etc, doesn't change what we hear....

As Lovey said, it doesn't help or hurt either side...So, as with everything, non-conclusive...

Only in 2 songs from the entire album Michael was credited as lead vocalist so...

On the bodylanguage analysis:

Couldn't it be that we see no stress or anxiety because Teddy in his mind started to believe it's Michael's voice?

"No signs of shame"...mmm..., that says nothing to me at all. Some people are absolutely shameless.

I appreciate the analysis, but I think some people have a lot of (lifes) experience in fooling other people and can lie without blinking an eye.

But, like I said, I appreciate the analysis and will keep it in the back of my mind.

I was thinking this as well...Like I said, he believes it's Michael cuz he's been told it's Michael...Plus, as Pentum said, he actually only commented on the 'no one can scream like Michael'....Well, yes, that's true, because there are genuine ad libs in those songs

He wasn't there when the songs were recorded, so there you go....

^^ looooooool...

Seriously though, from his Twitter rants to his believing that Michael is alive, it's very, very difficult and pretty much pointless to believe anything he says

That talking about Michael is alive went on much too long. He didn't mean it literally (I think..) but he should've known many fans were desperate to believe him.

Because of his Twitter rants and much talking, especially in the radio-interview (can't remember the name), I'm sure someone specialized in this, can pick up a lot. But unfortunately that also wouldn't prove a thing...:(

^^ Yeah, I don't think he meant it literally either, but it just seems that he isn't much serious about anything...The Twitter rants seemed to be attention-seeking, so I just never bothered to pay attention...Either way, it's pointless to even debate about body language analysis, as it really doesn't change much...If it did, someone would have thought to do this a long time ago, and we wouldn't still be debating this after 9 months :mello:

I agree. I think Teddy is just a believer who probably try hard to believe because now he is in the middle of this mess. He's a believer and a beLIEver lol

honestly, i find the body analysis interesting, and i don't doubt that this guy is good at his job. but there's absolutely nothing in this WORLD that would convince me that mj is singing on any of the cascio tracks that i've heard. also, i don't need any kind of"expert" to tell me what i already know about teddy: that he's out of his ever-loving mind. this guy has more than a few screws loose, and that's a fact

When Teddy hears this, he won't be a believer anymore:

http://t.co/wW8cBHD

Monster and Let Me Let Go mix, one song in the left earphone, the other in the right.

I kept switching my earphones and concentrated on only one. The voices are identical.

With thanks to Sunday_Nighter, who made this.
