Water was clearly written to take advantage of when Michael sings "water water" in TII in response to Kenny Ortega. It was Friedman who originally said that Michael sings Cascio songs in TII. Again, info coming from the Cascios in exchange for his support. I believe some of these tracks were written from scratch after Michael's death. By linking it to TII, it makes it look like the songs were written and recorded by Michael before. Clever, but so dishonest and so unfair to Michael as an artist.

Out of complete curiosity, have you ever had an abnormal amount of people stare at you like you've got a horrible disfigurement when you're wearing something like a hat?

Yes I think it's because your head and hair are so awkward underneath the odd hat that it appears you may need some reconstruction. In my experience anyway...
 
To me, the snippets have taken it to a brand new level of Super Mykyl Jacksen world. We're now in World 3, New Super Malachi World :D

Fall in Love is probably the worst of them. The voice is so annoying... Kinda reminds me of Jason whining in the beginning of How I Do.

I was right about Black Widow. It is mostly a sample of MJ mix with Jason but it also demonstrates Jason's ability to ad-lib a bit like MJ.

OK, good to know. I just found it odd that TONS of people have been staring at me lately. But now I know! :p

I was becoming so annoyed with it that I creatively vented!

As for Black Widow, it's something I can see myself listening to and enjoying, even if it is Malachi.

When I first read some of the discussion (that Michael was singing a part of song after Kenny told him to drink some water) I had to laugh. It was so obvious to me that Michael didn't mean anything special with this. He sang what he wanted to say many times before. There are YT's of that. But I hadn't heard 'Water' before, so I kept an open mind. Now I have heard 'Water' and unfortunately, StellaJackson, I'm afraid you are right.
 
So... Everyone rank their favourite Cascio track! Here's mine:

1. Black Widow
2. Water
3. Monster (Demo)
4. Breaking News
5. Burn Tonight
6. Stay
7. Keep Your Head Up
8. Soldier Boy (for composition ONLY)
9. All I Need
10. Ready 2 Win (ONLY because it took a lot from On the Line)
11. All Right
=.Fall In Love (both are painfully average ballads)

Granted, most of those are where they are because of the instrumentals.
 
Compare the start of Fall In Love "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-aaaa-aa" with the start of How I Do (a cappella or album version) "haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-a-a-a aouaaaaaa-a-a-a".

Unbelievable.

Fair enough, but at least we have something on-topic to talk about! Plus the top 2-3 songs are ones that I occasionally listen to with all my other music. To me, Fall in Love and All Right are just unlistenable. But Black Widow is actually very enjoyable. Possibly because it conveys my frustration at a certain person that I regretfully keep on running into. Props to Eddie on making listenable music. Now if only he can fix his lyrics... And the voice.

Besides Arky, naming your favourite MJ songs is impossible! You know that! ;)
