That's exciting!
IKR... I understand it's a fancier version of a remix album. But still, I'm eager to see how they amplify Michael's vocals. The musical director of the show mentioned that they stripped down the musical instruments and focus on Michael's vocals. It should be interesting if done right.
However, how come there is absolutely no official word about such album at all?
Perverts!!! :lmao:
P.S. I don't blame Eddie neither. I'd give Michael more than a "jack up". :fear:
It'll probably just be a last minute type of thing..I think I read a long time ago that there was to be an accompanying soundtrack, but not surprised that there is no official announcement....After all, album promotion is not their best feature lol
Jack you up is slang, you guys know, right???
It means like beat you up, mess you up, throw down.
Tore up from the floor up. LOL!!!
Imagine if Immortal was actually the name of a new studio album rather than a tour album?
Bhahahahah.... :lmao: :rollin:
i made a fool of myself obviously. :fear:
i thought the slang means a hand job.
with michael, i do have a very dirty mind.
thank you for the clarification...![]()
It most likely isn't that, but isn't it ironic that we're all clamouring for a Cirque album but it turns out to be a studio album and we're like "Damn! I wanted a remix/soundtrack album! Not 7 new tracks!!".
I don't even trust new albums, unless they're done right, which so far, they haven't proven capable of yet....
Well the Cirque album will most likely be done by... Cirque, with Greg Phillinganes & Kenin Antunes selecting the tracks, order etc. It'll be an amazing thing to tide me over until it eventually gets here.
As for new albums, the way I see it is that the Estate have ONE more chance to get it right with completely new stuff.
I'm confident Sony won't make this mistake again. Whatever they decide to release, I have enough faith to know it will be 100% Michael Jackson.
Then again, it is Sony.
:lmao: You're thinking 'jack off' :hysterical:

Not trying to be Debbie Downer here. But, the Cirque did include Monster and Breaking News in the first place. Okay, say the creative team was 100% confident that the tracks are genuine. Could they just be a little more sensitive about fans' feelings? They were fully aware of the controversies surrounding the tracks and the tracks do sound undoutedly different. Why they inssisted on using them? If these songs are of great quality, then I can understand. But, these songs are just water-down versions of Michael's previous masterpieces.
Again, it takes fans effort in contacting Cirque and the Estate in getting the songs removed. I do appreciate their swift response this time around. However, I'm not confident that the Estate and Sony really know what fans want. I don't understand. I realy don't. Is it really that important to maximize the number of albums they can release in the future? Do they know it's important to find the right balance? Of course it's good to release never-before-heard music; yet, they don't want to do it in a way that would dilute Michael's pristine catalog.
I think that all the Cascio songs are a perfect example of how the songs are not Michael Jackson.![]()
... Dammit, Debbie! But you're right, it was up to the creative team to include those songs. Personally, I think they included them because - above all else - they were contemporary and catchy. Everyone has to admit that Breaking News can be very catchy and Monster, well... Fitted the theme. They're not perfect, but the fact that Cirque responded so fast to these outcries do show that they're passionate about what they do and they are trying to please the fans. They had one misstep, but that didn't see the general public.
^^hope so... Speechless is otherworldly beautiful.
I'm excited about the Cirque show as well... I'm not really a Cirque fan. But, I believe the combination of Cirque and Michael's music can truely create magic.

Hmmm. I understand what you are saying, but I am not sure if your spelling is up to date with standard English.
