Michael - The Great Album Debate

:lmao:

And I found this for you:

Jason Malachi in the Hot Seat!!

Favourite Drink: Sexy Wine

Can anyone think of more?

I hate to burst your bubble, but it was found out a long time ago that in the song "Burn Tonight" MJ (in your case Jason) is not singing "Sexy wine", but instead he's singing "sexy wind/wine" as in a dance (since that's obviously what the song is about). =)

Because of the internet it's kind of hard to notice sarcasm, yet I have a feeling you used it here, am I correct?
Debate all you want, though, people using false information (on the songs) are the ones who are laughed at in the end. =P

Atleast, when debating, use correct information, and yes, even in jokes, because without correct information you do not have a "funny" joke, people. =)

Yeah, there needs to be a button the keaboard that puts in three or these '
Marks so it would be like this: '''
And so, henceforth, the new sarxasm mark.

That made almost no sense.

Don't you think you are a little arrogant? Are you so sure the information you have is 100% correct? None of us, not even you, has the official lyrics. Who's here to say "sexy wind/wine" is what the songwriter wrote. It's all up to us to interpretate. To you, the song is about dance. To me, the song is "to-my-face-sex" which is not at all sexy. The songwriter did a poor job in my opinion. Even if the official lyrics is sexy wind/wine, it doesn't mean the people who think it's "sexy wine" are stupid and are to be laughed at. Again, it's poor song writing and use of awkward phrase.

Well, please give me all the information you got so I can joke around correctly.

wind / wine is not an awkward phrase , it's normal term (check r.kelly slow wind) and used as a dance term (just look to youtube and search for winding) quite often, wine is just the same but a little different type of dance from another location. I guess it might be awkward if you aren't familiar with the use of it but it's not like the songwriter created a "weird" word or misused it.

that being said I don't think burn 2nite isn't necessarily all about dancing but when you look to the dance that's called wind/wine you'll see that it's a dance that's all about movement of the hips hence sexy and fits with the theme of the song

logically when u look to it , it's more likely that the wind/wine is used as a dance term rather than a drink.

^^i don't necessary think the phrase "sexy wind/wine" is awkward. But, to me, the use of the phrase in the song is quite awkward. I totally understand why so many people don't get it. And, I don't think people who dont get it are stupid or are to be laughed at. Again, I think the song writing is poor. The lyrics are are all over the place. There is no beauty in it. And, this is just my opinion.

I don't think people who think wine = drink deserves to be laugh at as well

but

I also think that there's an approach that some people want to hate these songs / want to find mistakes in them that they can't even accept the fact that wind/wine might not be a drink but a dance style , is used in language and even in songs and might fit with the rest of the lyrics.

u know what I mean? It's okay if you don't like the overall lyrics regardless of drink versus dance meaning but there's no logic in rejecting that it might not be a drink but a dance.

how about r kelly lyrics?

Ow you'r dancin' all over me
Baby this is like some kind of fantasy
The way you move your teasing girl
So tonight I want you in my world

Now will you wind for me
Slow wind for me

Let's get together
And make sweet love ye
Let's get together
And mix cultures
Let's get together
And change the world ye
Wind for me jamiacan girl

and chris brown lyrics

Look at shawty's hip, once she winds it up
Now rewind that back, put it in reverse baby I like that
Can't nobody do it better, let chu do your thing while I sip this amaretto

I love the way you wind slow, oh oh girl, girl when you crawl pon da ting
Make it touch the floor, oh oh girl, girl jus keep on winding

lil' wayne lyrics

she a dancer she could make it clap
im in the zone now i think its a rap
she windin on me, she windin on me

Tony! Toni! Tone! lyrics

But slow plus a four letter word is the one thing on my mind.
(So right, so fine) If I can wine you in my arms
(From left to right) Slow wine
(So right, so fine) Yeah, just let your body flow.
(From left to right) So nice
If we could slow wine

Chorus:
Slow wine (Slow!)
Honey, keep it nice and slow (come on!)
Slow wine (Slow wine!)
You got to use your body and soul (Hey! Hey!)
Slow wine
Honey, keep it nice and slow
Slow wine (Slow wine!)
You got to use your body and soul (Yeah!)

still awkward in a song?

Anyone know if any Cascio songs were featured in tonights IMMORTAL TOUR performance?

^^I actually knew about the dance vs. drink discussion. I read it from MaxJax. I don't object sexy wine being a dance instead of a drink. The use of it in a song is not awkward if the song is written in a way that makes me get the dance vibe. But, I didn't.

I don't have the song or the lyrics but I clearly remember a reference to dance and passionately burning in lyrics. so if in one line it talks about grinding/moving your hips and the following lines mention dancing and desire /burning , it kinda fits in my book.

as I said before I too didn't think the song was solely about dance. to me it was about turning someone on (not sex - pre sex :p ) and sexy dancing was a part of it.

anyway sleep time

Lol... I don't remember all the lyrics neither. I didnt save the song and listened to it three times max. To me, the song is about pre-sex and horny for more sex. Lol... Sweet dreams (I know it's difficult to have peaceful mind around this time). Still, blessings to you!

I'm just saying "sexy wine" is mentioned only one time in the song but I don't think that means the whole song is about dancing  :)

and I totally agree with u as I wrote above.

Anyone else think Fall In Love sounds a lot like Michael? Also the demos don't sound like Jason Malachi to me. He's not that good of a singer.

What you think of the song has NOTHING and I repeat NOTHING to do with it (And before I get attacked, your opinion is just as valid as mine, just stating a fact).

I'm also in no way arrogant, but just like you (from the other side) I'm sick of the whole thing. No one has the official lyrics, you might be correct there as in normal people don't have them, but besides that, by using normal logic (and no, not intended as flaming

Fall In Love sounds a lot like Michael? Where have you been, man?

The real issue is not the lyrics. If it was Mike's voice singing "sexy wind" or even "sexy wine" we wouldn't be debating this at all.

Concerning poor lyrics, it is only additional thing that makes people doubt it is Michael. The most obvious poor writing to me has been "he was stabbed in the back, as a matter of fact". I was in hysterics when I heard it, because it was so unexpected.

p.s. Maybe the real vocalist is Ivy, because she defends those tracks so fiercely. :ninja: I find it suspicious. :D

Sounds 100% Jason Malachi to me, no doubt in my mind.
