Michael - The Great Album Debate

I meant MJ on the Cascio songs and MJ other songs

Cuz there is not a single MJ song that sounds identical to the voice in the Cascio songs, otherwise why is there a controversy here? Why did Eddie go on Oprah and had to justify? Why did Teddy join him on Oprah and had to justify himself too? Because the voice in those songs sounds indentical to the voice of all previous MJ's songs?

... That affects the accent? Hollywood was recorded in a hotel, his accent survives. I Like The Way's phone message has his accent still. In fact, the one line he sings in that situation sounds COMPLETELY the same as what's in the song!
What was the set up ?

Let's see... IF it is MJ, I will have lost a GREAT amount of faith in his vocal ability, and I will probably have to throw away a lot of my collection because it's so damn impossible to believe that it's him.If it's not him, then my faith is restored and his sudden change of accent is explained.
Please don't lose faith. Michael was born a great vocalist. He further developed his talents with years of training, practice and experience. No one can take that away from him. What Eddie Cascio did was not right. It's poor judgement at best. Even if the vocals were MJ's, the vocals are just too incomplete and of poor quality, they should have never fabricated any tracks from those materials. It's never about sharing music with fans, it's about making as many albums as possible.

Funny I was gonna say the same to you saying Malachi and Malachi

And yet this debate is mostly populated with doubters and we have a consensus here. Trying to force your beliefs on the natives will get you nowhere here.

To many fans yes

you not having the album was your point from the beginning not mine. My point was the opposite from the start - as long as you have the songs it wouldn't matter. Let me remind you the first line in my first post "but you have all the songs right? " Come on pentum. It's not that hard to understand.

and yes we clearly have opposite opinions in this regard. To me it's hilarious that you would spend so much time and effort on these songs /comparisons and yet seem to think it's makes a huge difference that you don't have the physical album..

dude you dedicated your life to that "disgusting fake" songs even more so than the believers.. talk about irony..

Sounds to me like your just trying to pick a fight to be honest.

You wanna know why believers don't come here ?
Cause they know it's him

I really think I'm the only believer here lol
Oh well I'm one of millions

Oh-ho, really? MILLIONS? Tell me where these millions are, because they all seemed to quiet down once the leaks started cropping up.

Well let's see how many people bough this album ?
How many people does it take to make "Michael" the Global #1 album ?
How many people that bought the album haven't complained ?

Actually, King... What's your opinion on those snippets, if you don't mind me asking?

I can't listen to them right now but from what I remember, Fall In Love is an out of tune mess that doesn't sound anything like Michael. Ready To Win... I don't know where to start with this one. It reminds me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-7taGcm8lg - An impersonator singing over the Keep The Faith instrumental with new lyrics (in this case, to create a tribute song). Are we supposed to believe Michael played the On The Line instrumental and started singing new lyrics to create a new song? I can't remember the rest of them right now I'll post my opinion of them later.

Sounds bad in quality

Do you think it is Michael's voice? If so, do you find anything strange about it?

Did you ?

I didn't use the argument of "many fans".

I asked you a question why is there a controversy if those vocals sound identical to all MJ previous songs? Why isn't there any controversy on Slave To The Rhythm or Do You Know Where Your Children Are?

Now you are even using the number "millions of fans". I am asking you the question - did you count them or did you carry out any kind of poll to know those figures that you use in your posts?

Let's see, I don't have the correct figure, but I know for a fact that it's the lowest selling album from MJ of all time that's not a compilation AND it was only #1 for ONE week. That alone should speak volumes over what these tracks have done.

Thanks for the reply, King!

Sounds to me like your just trying to pick a fight to be honest.

sounds to me like you are jumping into something that's none of your business. Pentum is an adult and more than capable of maintaining a conversation and defend himself.

and if you are sooooo concerned about the fights, you might also want to complain about multiple people going on and on and on towards one single person for the last tens of pages..

Yes I do and it makes me think that these songs were never intended for an album

Have you considered that among your "millions of fans" the doubters are included?

Can I point out that Michael is selling for £2 on Amazon right now and it isn't even a year old. Compare it to any other Michael Jackson album or even any album that came out around the same time as Michael such as Take That's progress or Rihanna's Loud. The Michael album was not a success.

Are you trying to compare the sales to Thriller or something it just released

No, Invincible - with VERY BAD promotion - sold 13 million in the first year. MICHAEL sold something like 2 million. Pitiful, the tracks caused it because of the MASSIVE amount of controversy they generated.

I just don't think it is possible for Michael to sound that bad and that out of tune. Even in the Oprah interview or in Living With MJ when Michael randomly sang it was perfect. It is hard to believe Michael would sing out of tune, especially if it was being recorded.

Your looking at sellers not the official Amazon store price

Exactly Invincible is almost 10 years old and "Michael" is almost 1
