You're correct, this documentary is a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the BAD album, and that is exactly why it IS relevant and justifiable to have stars like Bieber, Rhianna, Chris Brown etc in the show. Their contribution is as valid as the people who worked on the album or knew Mike at the time. It's their contribution that will show what impact that album has had, not only on the music scene 25 years ago but the impact it continues to have today, and it's their contribution that will play a big part in validating that impact. It's one thing to declare an album is still impacting today's stars, but it's better to demonstrate that with evidence from the stars themselves.
People who are moaning about these stars being on the show are just wrong. Simple.

‘‘We have footage in this documentary that no one’s ever seen, stuff that Michael shot himself, behind-the-scenes stuff,’’ he said in an interview Monday. ‘‘We had complete access to the vaults of Michael Jackson. ... He wrote 60 demos for the ‘Bad’ record. Only 11 made it. So we got to hear a lot of that stuff, too, so it was just a great experience.’’
This is gonna be BIG. I hope they do justice by Michael, his fans and ensure it gets maximum exposure. After all this effort, I would love to see it get a theatrical release, but doubt that will happen. Hope I'm proven wrong. Have they confirmed what media will be used? This also should be made available on video - maybe combine it with the Bad tour DVD or separately in Bluray format. We need all those extras on record to replay!

That'll probably be the first pro MJ show since 'Living With Michael Jackson' to have that kind of audience in the UK. Come to think of it, none of the terrestrial TV channels in the UK have shown TII yet.
Now the documentary has been officially announced what we fans need to do is contact the large national TV networks in our countries and REQUEST they show it. If there is a large demand then maybe they'll buy the show...

Sheryl Crow. He could have done it without her. She talked very badly about Michael after the Bad Tour.
No, she should be a part of this.
Shivers down my spine..

- ‘‘We really divided it into two things: Artists today who were influenced by Michael, and then people who worked side by side — musicians, songwriters, technicians, engineers, people at the label, who were all committed to Michael, to the follow-up to the biggest record of all time, which still is ‘Thriller.'’’

They leave it to the gutter channels to show anti-MJ stuff instead.
