Paris Jackson Only Went to Uncles’ Show Last Night Hoping to See Grandmother–Still Missing

07/23/12 3:08pmRoger Friedman0

Paris Jackson went to the Greek Theater last night in L.A. not to support her uncles–but to see her grandmother. She and her adult cousins–who are watching Paris, Prince, and Michael–were told grandmother Katherine Jackson would be at the show. She was not. As far as anyone knows, KAtherine Jackson is still in Phoenix with her daughter Rebbie and cousins. She has not had any communication with her custodial grandchildren. My sources say her cell phone and laptop have been removed.

“The children are very worried,” says a source– and rightly so. Mrs. Jackson went to Phoenix with the intention of seeing her four sons appear in three shows–in Phoenix and Las Vegas. She never appeared at any of them and has not been heard from since. And now the brothers have played in Los Angeles, and still Mrs. Jackson is missing. She is not “fine” by any means if she’s being prevented from contacting her grandchildren and her attorneys. As of this afternoon, no one has heard from her. This is a serious situation.

For one thing, she is the legal guardian of three minor children. Second, she is the heir to a large estate–her son Michael’s. The feeling is that she won’t re-surface until she agrees to the demands that five of her children laid out in a letter to Michael Jackson’s executors last week. This is unbelievable. Certainly Rebbie Jackson Brown can be made to produce her mother in a court if pressed by the guardian ad litem for the children. More to come…

PS Paris Jackson has been pulled off of Twitter. There have been no new messages since yesterday.

And TMZ is wrong–Katherine was not taken to Phoenix to a spa…

Wow, this is crazy, isn't it.

Police have finally reached Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson, following concerned tweets from Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris, saying she hadn't seen or spoken with her grandmother and guardian in a week. Katherine is on a planned vacation in Arizona, according to her son Jermaine. But some observers are suspicious about her absence coming just days after five of Michael's siblings claimed that his will was a fake.

"No way would Katherine leave Michael Jackson's three children [Prince, Paris and Blanket] and go on vacation without telling them," a friend of the family tells me. "She takes her role as guardian very seriously. Everyone in the business is very concerned about what is going on."

Katherine Jackson is apparently visiting with her daughter Rebbie. Rebbie and Jermaine are among the five siblings making allegations about Michael's will and its executors.

Paris tweeted her concerns earlier this month, saying, "yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now.”

"What 14-year-old tweets that her grandmother and guardian is not home and has been missing for a week? Who is taking care of these children?" asks one industry veteran. "For as long as anyone can remember, Michael would give Katherine money that she handed out to Michael's other siblings. But since his death, that has stopped; now the executors of his estate, who must account to the probate court, control the money. Literally, the golden goose is dead, and since 2009 everyone who got used to living off Michael must be very angry."

The Jackson brothers' reunion tour, which includes a tribute to Michael, hasn't proved to be the cash cow many had hoped. Since the 27-date tour was announced, 11 shows have been canceled and the upcoming Los Angeles show is discounting tickets up to 66 percent.

KATHERINE JACKSON
'What's All The Fuss?'
Katherine Jackson is alive and well in Arizona, though she's playing her cards close to her vest.

TMZ broke the story ... Michael Jackson's siblings whisked Katherine away to a spa in Tucson to help her escape what they called the "utter chaos" of the Jackson family home in Encino. Apparently no one told Katherine's nephew, who reported her missing Saturday night.

Now, a photo of Katherine at the Arizona spa has surfaced -- showing her playing UNO with her daughter Rebbie, her granddaughter Stacy, and her great grandson London.

Katherine is supposedly relaxing and having a good time.

Not pictured: MJ's children ... who Katherine abandoned in L.A. during her getaway.

Janet Jackson Behind Mother Katherine's Mysterious Arizona Trip
Posted on Jul 23, 2012 @ 04:00PM print it send it

WENN
By Jon Boon - Radar Reporter

Katherine Jackson was mysteriously taken to Arizona on her daughter Janet’s wishes, a family member exclusively tells RadarOnline.com.

The 46-year-old singer was adamant that her mom needed bed rest and ordered her to be checked out by an independent doctor. And the source has revealed that Katherine is doing just fine.

“Katherine is very well,” the family member tells RadarOnline.com. “Janet was behind the whole thing – she felt that Katherine needed medical help and was desperate for her to get some bed rest.

“It was an extreme measure, but Janet felt that by being away from Paris and Prince Michael, Katherine would be able to relax a lot easier. However, it’s important to reiterate that she’s not at a hospital. If she was truly sick she would be in hospital care.

“Katherine is holed up at a place where she can just get some rest."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Los Angeles Sheriff Department officials said late Sunday that Katherine, 82, was safe, after her nephew Trent Jackson reported her missing a few days ago.

According to a report from TODAY on Monday, Katherine’s excursion to Arizona was planned well in advance. While her son Jermaine put out a statement that read, “Let me put to bed today’s nonsense: as I made clear some days ago, Mother is safe and well in Arizona with her daughter and our sister, Rebbie, resting up on doctor’s advice, so it is beyond me how she can be reported 'missing.'

"This incredulous claim was made for reasons best known to the adult/s who filed it but it seems no accident that it comes after we, the sons and daughters, put in place care-taking for our own mother, taking her to Arizona in line with doctor’s advice following a check-up.

"Furthermore, it dismays me that such an alarmist 'missing person' report has caused unnecessary anxiety among Michael’s children who will understandably react to what they misunderstand, hear or are told.

"No-one is being 'blocked' from speaking with Mother. She is merely an 82-year-old woman following doctor’s orders to rest-up and de-stress, away from phones and computers. Everyone has been well aware of this within the family, but I would like to reiterate my reassurance to the outside world that Mother is fine. In the meantime, thank you for all your thoughts and concerns."

Katherine, 82, has been raising her son Michael's three kids (Prince, Paris and Blanket) following the singer's June 25, 2009 death.

Granddaughter Paris had tweeted over the weekend: "yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now."

Meanwhile, CNN reported Monday that a lawyer for Katherine Jackson is asking the FBI for help, saying Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies were not allowed to see Michael Jackson's mother in Arizona as part of a missing person investigation.

"Randy's security refused to allow them in," attorney Sandra Ribera told CNN. She said she was referring to Randy Jackson, Katherine Jackson's youngest son.

Her children released a statement this morning saying the missing person’s report was “created by the very person and persons we are trying to protect our mother from.”“We feel that there is a conspiracy to deflect the attention away from a letter we wrote asking for the resignation of executors, John Branca and John McClain, as well as some of her ‘advisors’ and ‘caregivers,’” the statement said. “We feel there is strong evidence that supports the falsification of documents in order to takeover and profit from the estate of our beloved brother, Michael Jackson. We want answers. The only feud that exists is between the Executors of the Estate and this family. This is being handled by the proper authorities and due process will take place.”http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/entertainment/2012/07/katherine-jackson-not-missing-resting-in-arizona/

Are these fools implying that the estate created the missing report, unless they are including Trent in the group they are trying to protect their mother from. They feel that the missing report was a ploy to shift focus from the issues of their stupid letter. How could that be when in every statement made by the media about the missing report, the letter was mentioned to show the conflict within the Jackson family. They fail to realize that the letter and hiding mother from some family members show a disunity and fight between the family, since all did not sign and some did not know where Mother was. The estate did not get involved in the missing person situation and that must have been a blow to their egos. It also shows that the estate is not involved in this fight. When will they realize that the estate has no fear of them and are not fighting with them because the family has no rights about who should be the exec of the estate. Even if they hide someone else next week, the estate will not get involved. This weekend Branca was in New york getting the final touches made on our Wonderful Bad 25 doc. This is what was on the mind of one part of the Estate--making fans happy and continuing Michael's legacy.

Mann needs to focus on his case and not try to interpret the mechanisms of Michael's will and estate, which he seems to have no clue about. Also, Oxman needs to keep quiet since he lost his license due to fraudulent practices. I cannot believe that people are still asking him to comment.

Re: Michael jackson's mom reported missing

We know she is safe. But has she talked to Paris?

Re: Michael jackson's mom reported missing

Do you know where you mother is?
Because it's now 12 o'clock
She's somewhere in Arizona
Just imagine how tense she is
Your siblings have taken her
Don't plan on returning her
Until they've got a piece of you
Some fancy diamonds and jewels
Do you know where your mother is?

Must be hard watching all of this from up above. Rest in peace Mike.

Cops Called to Katherine Jackson’s Home, Stop Michael Jackson’s Children Being Removed By Janet, Jermaine and Randy Jackson (EXCLUSIVE)

Los Angeles police were called to the Calabasas, Calif., mansion of Jackson family matriarch Katherine earlier Monday to stop Michael Jackson’s three children from being removed from the house, Celebuzz has exclusively learned.

It’s understood at least three siblings of the late pop star Michael Jackson — Janet, Jermaine, Randy — arrived at the mansion 82-year-old Katherine shares with the late pop star’s children, Prince Michael, 15, Paris, 14, and ten-year-old Prince Michael 2.

“Janet, Jermaine and Randy turned up with what appeared to be a television crew in tow,” a source at the home told Celebuzz.

It’s understood Katherine’s personal security prevented the trio of uncle and aunts from taking the children and immediately called police. It is not known if police were involved in preventing Janet, Jermaine and Randy.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the development when contacted by Celebuzz.

“We were called out to her home at 1.10pm,” the Watch Commander at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station confirmed to Celebuzz.

“Police are currently still trying to determine what happened at the home, so at this point, we do not have any further information.”

As Celebuzz previously reported, the legal guardian for the three Jackson children was reported missing to police late on Saturday — as a family feud escalated over his multi-billion dollar will.

A shaken Paris appealed on Twitter: “My grandmother is missing. I haven’t spoken with her in a week. I want her home now. If anybody sees my grandmother, please call the authorities.”

A photo emerged Monday of Katherine at a resort in Arizona playing cards.

“She is safe and with family members,” L.A. Sheriff’s Deputy Don Walker read from a statement Monday morning, L.A. Now reported.

But the circumstances of her departure from Los Angeles remain mysterious.

“Last weekend Katherine Jackson was getting ready to leave for a much anticipated road trip in the RV her son Michael bought for her to watch her sons perform,” Katherine’s attorney Sandra Ribera told Celebuzz.

“Prior to her departure, a doctor was brought to her home and represented that he had been sent from the office of her longtime physician. Based on this representation, Mrs. Jackson agreed to meet with the doctor who subsequently ordered her to fly rather than drive to her sons concerts.

“Mrs. Jackson followed what she believed to be her doctor’s instructions. Katherine Jackson’s longtime physician recently confirmed that his office did not send a doctor to Mrs. Jackson’s home last weekend before she left on her trip,” Ribera added.

“It has further been discovered that the doctor that Katherine Jackson last saw has been publicly reprimanded by the California Medical Board for fraudulent activities and has ties to Dr. Conrad Murray.”

The “disappearance” comes after five of Jackson’s brothers and sisters — Rebbie, Janet, Jermaine, Tito and Randy — wrote to executors of the singer’s estate, claiming the signature of his will is “fake, flawed and fraudulent.”

They called for them to step down in the letter leaked to Celebuzz, as we exclusively reported.

Re: Michael jackson's mom reported missing

This is a survey I just read on Roger Friedman's site: The majority says that MJ's kids need legal help ASAP!

Jermaine Jackson: Do you believe his mother is on a rest vacation?

Michael Jackson's kids need legal help ASAP (57% of votes)

No, she's being detained until she gives in to her kids (36% of votes)

Yes, She needed to get a break from her grandkids (7% of votes)

Re: Michael jackson's mom reported missing

Jermaine and Randy did not take physical custody or care of their own freaking kids. How dare they pretend to have so much concern about Michael's children.

What in God's name is happening here? ??

NEWS/Katherine Jackson's Disappearance/Reappearance: What's at Stake
by Josh Grossberg Today 4:01 PM PDT

Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, appears to be doing just fine by the looks of the happy photo X17Online obtained of her and her family relaxing in Arizona playing the card game Uno.

But as E! News reports, all of the behind-the-scenes drama concerning her late son's estate, leading up to Katherine's so-called "disappearance," paints a less-rosy picture—a portrait of infighting going on not just among family members, but also between the Jacksons and the estate's co-executors, John Branca and John McClain.

Here's what's at stake.
MORE: Katherine Jackson Located, Is Safe With Family
Per information filed by the executors of Jackson's estate during initial probate hearings in 2009 and obtained by E! News, Jackson's last will was dated July 7, 2002, and the sole beneficiary of that will was the Michael Jackson Trust and Jackson's three children, Paris, Prince Michael and Prince Michael II aka Blanket.
Among other key findings:
• Katherine was appointed guardian of the minor children, but since she had no income other than Social Security, Branca and McClain, as the estate's administrators, authorized that she receive $26,804 a month (with Social Security deducted from that amount).
• Additionally, the estate agreed to continue to pay all expenses pertaining to the residence she's lived in for the past 30 years including the mortgage, property taxes, maintenance, insurance, utilities, landscaping, etc.

• The children were authorized to receive $60,000 a month total, but that amount was to be paid directly to Katherine. No other family members beside Jackson's children and Katherine were authorized to receive an allowance from the estate.
• Katherine and the kids were the sole designated beneficiary of the King of Pop's life insurance policy.
• At the time of his death, Jackson's estate was estimated to be worth more than $500 million.

Last week, Katherine's nephew Trent reported the 82-year-old matriarch as missing late Saturday night, saying she hadn't been heard from in over a week. Adding to the worries, Paris tweeted that she hadn't spoken to her grandmother either.

Apparently, neither of them talked to Katherine's son Jermaine Jackson, who tweeted that his mother was "fine" and "resting up" in Arizona on doctor's orders.

MORE: Paris, LaToya and Randy Tweet in Memory of Michael Jackson in Third Anniversary of His Death

Before today's pic surfaced showing the elder Jackson apparently safe and sound in Arizona, Zia Modabber, an attorney for Branca, told E! News that his client was "concerned" about all the news surrounding her purported disappearance and was "paying close attention to what is going on."

Meanwhile, adding to speculation that some family members wouldn't mind rewriting M.J.'s will in their favor, the surviving members of the Jackson 5 have hit the road again with what they're (ironically) calling the Unity Tour and performing hits from their classic catalog. However, according to the Los Angeles Times, 11 stops out of the 27-date trek have been cancelled and ticket sales have been sluggish to say the least, suggesting the brothers may have a hard time keeping the act alive without Michael.

Rumors of internecine family warfare also got a boost after Us Weekly reported last week that Janet Jackson was "furious" that Paris landed a role in the upcoming film Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys because it's not what her dad would've wanted.

A source told the magazine the "Rhythm Nation" diva felt the casting "goes against Michael's wishes to keep his kids out of the limelight until age 18."

Also last week, siblings Janet, Jermaine, Rebbie, Tito and Randy fired off an angry letter to Branca and McClain, accusing them of fraud when it comes to their brother's will. However, a statement sent to E! News from estate spokesman Jim Bates dismisses such a claim.

WOW! This keeps gettin stranger and stranger. They say the wanted to protect Katherine from those who are allegedly taken advantage of her, yet they leave MJ kids behind? o_O Now I read allegedly they wanted her away from MJ kids too? And now they tried to take them from their home now? WTF! What is the truth here?!

From the looks of things the way the story keeps changing, there could be a lot more to it than we think. I cannot figure out why they were trying to remove MJ's kids from the home... while filming it?? What's that all about?

Fight breaks out at home of Michael Jackson's mother

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies on Monday responded to reports of a fight at the home of Michael Jackson's mother, with officials saying the fight involved various family members.

Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Sheriff's Department, said deputies took a report but that no arrests were made.

"Lost Hills deputies responded to a family disturbance at the home of Katherine Jackson in the city of Calabasas. Deputies determined that a physical altercation had occurred, a battery. It involved members on the Jackson family," Whitmore said.

He did not name those involved.

The incident comes after some members of the Jackson family publicly said Katherine Jackson was missing and they were concerned about her welfare. The 82-year-old was reported missing Saturday by her family, sheriff's officials said.

Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson's daughter, posted on Twitter on Sunday: "Yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now."

Jermaine Jackson later went on Twitter to say that his mother was fine.

"I want to reassure everyone (inc all sudden medical experts) that Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the orders of a doctor, not us," he wrote.

L.A. County Sheriff's Deputies went to the Jackson family home in Calabasas and took a battery report ... after family members reported a disturbance.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Lost Hills deputies from the Sheriff''s Dept. showed up this afternoon at the compound and someone inside accused someone else present of a physical assault.

Deputies took a report but not arrests were made.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Lost Hills Sheriff's deputies have been on the Jackson case since April, when a business associate of the Jackson family alleged that Katherine Jackson was being emotionally and financially mistreated by family members.

At the time, deputies interviewed Katherine who denied she was being mistreated, but we're told the Sheriff's are still on the case and are interviewing other family members to determine if there is possible financial abuse.

Sources say the alleged battery has something to do with these ongoing allegations.

MICHAEL JACKSON FAMILY
Cops Called
After Fight Erupts

L.A. County Sheriff's Deputies went to the Jackson family home in Calabasas and took a battery report ... after family members reported a disturbance.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Lost Hills deputies from the Sheriff's Dept. showed up this afternoon at the compound and someone inside accused someone else present of a physical assault.

Deputies took a report but no arrests were made.

Re: Michael jackson's mom reported missing

^^I want to be wrong on this, but i don't think the physical altercation was between the three brothers. Hope they don't touch Michael's children.

Re: Michael jackson's mom reported missing

I am very distressed right now.

I don't care what the Jackson family does amongst themselves. They are adults. But under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are they to mess with Michael's children!!!!

Some members of that family seem to blame those children for whatever stress Mrs Jackson is going through and her seemingly callous response to yesterday's debacle suggests that she agrees!! That breaks my heart. Those children need someone to love them for who they are and NOT for what financial security they can provide. And if Mrs Jackson is unable or unwilling to provide that unconditional love then she needs to let them go.

Michael suffered immense pressure from that family all his life. He would not want his children to have the same experience. I don't care what anybody says - I feel he would be very disappointed in his mother right now.

Me? I am appalled and deeply, deeply saddened.

Re: Michael jackson's mom reported missing

With each new report, and or statement... I get more and more confused about all of this. Just when I think I've made sense of it all...nope.

I want to give Mrs. Jacksons children the benefit of the doubt. So I think to myself...ok, Katherine is 82 years old and does have a lot on her plate at her age, and taking care of three very young children is one of the top things. Whether we like it or not, it is a lot for a woman her age to take on. My grandmother is 83 and she currently has great-grand children younger than PPB living with her, and it is driving her up the wall and I feel so bad for her because it does nothing but stress her out. She can't handle it all. Sure there are others in the house, but its difficult.

So the children take Katherine on a little "getaway" on vacation away from it all, yes including the children. That's also fine, but its the manor in which they did it. From what we know she still has had no contact with the children she is caring for and that is the problem. It doesn't matter whose decision or fault it was, the fact remains that the children should have been the FIRST to know what was going on. Had that happened, this would have all been avoided.

But no. Because this was not discussed amongst the children, clearly, now that family once again is at the center of controversy and possibly legal trouble. Now speculation continues to grow which does nothing but divide. Now people are taking sides, and its one thing for us as outsides to have our opinions...but now those that are actually in or close to that family are being forced to choose sides. And that isn't fair.

I wonder who are the family members.
