Wembley DVD content - discuss Michael, his concert and performance ONLY [discussion ]

Re: Wembley DVD content - Discuss Michael, his Wembley concert and performances Only

I watched the DVD again and again :D and all I can say is that I am totally BLOWN out by MJ energy.

I was complete stuck from the first second till the end. I was dazzled, I moved :D , I sang :D I laughed; I shouted and I cried :D

This is really really BAD !!! :D

I am really happy they released the DVD.

I do hope they will release others DVD concert from Triumph, Victory, BAD tours :p

Re: BAD 25 Demo's unreleased, unheard Studio songs Discussion [previews added]

Some of those weren't considered for bad, they were just recorded around that time. They're probably being saved for the next compilation album.

Yes they were, They was considered for the bad album cause michael wanted some more songs for the bad album but some didn't made the cut, Songs like free sound like a dangerous era, I'm so blue didn't really hype me, Abortion papers is okay, Don't be messin round should be something in the thriller era, price of fame the same sound like thriller era or victory, Al capone was great but did he recorded that round the early to mid 80's? So the bad25 wasn't really jumping off for me thriller25 is way better it might had 2 outtakes but they knew what to put on their, If they did it like the thriller25 with Quincy picking out the bad outtakes I think we would of had better tracks like streetwalker and flyaway cause they was gonna put bumper kid and someone put your hand out 1987 version but it didn't made the final, SO BAD25 REALLY LET ME DOWN. IN MY OPINION THE PEOPLE BEHIND IT DIDN'T DO A GOOD JOB.

juust saw the dvd today! Woooow! Words canot describe how i feel! I loved iit. Just loved it!

Man In The Mirror, oh my, that is the best MITM performance i have seen. The band was so awesome. Never thought i would be able to say this but, I finally saw a full Bad Tour 2nd Leg Concert!
I agree! When MITM started I was in a 'ah, nice, MITM' mood, but after a minute or so I was totally into the song and completely swept away by the performance. And it just kept building and building (those soulful adlibs!). For me it is also by far the best MITM I have ever seen.

*hi5* I understand the way u feel brother. This dvd gives me goosebumps, epic Michael, epic band, epic crowd, epic everything. Oh and Sheryl Crow is too cute. :)
Except for the Shirley Crow part, I agree wholeheartedly. ;)

I do hope they will release others DVD concert from Triumph, Victory, BAD tours :p
Me too. This release has left me craving for more, even more so than I did before. Bring on the July 15 show (just the start of the TWYMMF performance alone convinced me that I have to somehow see that show too one day)!

Re: Wembley DVD content - Discuss Michael, his Wembley concert and performances Only

During the break with the band still playing. did anyone laugh at Greg's cheesy smile while playing?? haha

Re: BAD 25 Demo's unreleased, unheard Studio songs Discussion [previews added]

there is a BIG difference between attempting to finish unreleased material and risking it not fitting MJ's vision, and releasing unfinished demos and allowing his fans and the rest of the world to study and appreciate his creative process and genius. It's all about how you approach it, and again: Bad 25 did it right.
I agree. The MICHAEL album was just a remix album

Re: BAD 25 Demo's unreleased, unheard Studio songs Discussion [previews added]

does anyone else feel the demo's are early 80's?, and maybe not planned for BAD?, my fave tracks are i'm so blue and Al Capone. that makes me want to dance!

Re: BAD 25 Demo's unreleased, unheard Studio songs Discussion [previews added]

:girl_blush: :thankyou: I love this song.
I also love MJ's song, "I'm so Blue".
I think that is Stevie Wonder playing the harmonica.

Re: BAD 25 Demo's unreleased, unheard Studio songs Discussion [previews added]

^^Speaking of, does anyone else hear a Stevie Wonder influence in "Free" or am I the only one?

YES. I loved every minute of it!

Re: BAD 25 CD Live songs Wembley Stadium July 16, 1988 [Discussion thread]

I prefer listen audio from the DVD plus TWYMMF. I don't like edit songs

I agree the live CD needed to be a double disk. But ripping the audio from the DVD is not the answer. The sound quality between the CD and DVD are drastic. For whatever reason the quality of sound on the CD is way better than the DVD. That was my biggest gripe about the whole package.

I did too. LOL! I thought the way his eyes darted around was funny, as well. I actually loved that band jam!! They are all SO talented. But Greg seems like such a cool guy. :)

Ok i keep seeing everyone saying something bout "ripping" the music from the dvd to cd....how do u do that?

Re: Wembley DVD content - Discuss Michael, his Wembley concert and performances Only

I need help. What song or tune is Greg playing between 1:03:58 - 1:04:20 during the band solo ?

It would probably be easier for you to DL it from someone else than do it yourself (since you're unsure how the process works to start with).

It is long out of print, but I took a gamble on Amazon.com a couple of years ago and ordered a used copy from this listing: http://www.amazon.com/Bad-Michael-J...48114667&sr=8-24&keywords=Michael+Jackson+Bad

Luckily it turned out to be a pressing with all the original mixes, but I don't think there's a guarantee you'll get the first pressing. Most of the listings are pretty cheap though so it's worth a shot I guess.

I got my original pressing of HIStory the same way, I randomly decided to order a used copy and fortunately it turned out to be the version with TDCAU uncensored and the original intro to HIStory.

Re: Wembley DVD content - Discuss Michael, his Wembley concert and performances Only

Just watched Wembley this evening. It was breathtaking. Some things

-I'm jealous of Sheryl Crow and Jennifer Batten. Jennifer touched Michael's hair on DD. Get off my man :p
-Between WDAN and then Beat It, I kept thinking Michael would lose his voice. How did he do it with all the yelling? Two powerful performances :swoon:
-I loved Michael's interactions with the band during Bad, and when the kids came on stage. Michael's so adorable
-My favorite performances were Human Nature, Billie Jean, SOOML, Thriller and Man in the Mirror
-By the end of Man in the Mirror I think my heart stopped beating or at least was beating really fast

try asking in 2000 Watts discussion forum. There are several ways. but that would derail this thread.

Re: BAD 25 Demo's unreleased, unheard Studio songs Discussion [previews added]

Having listened to all the demos now, I'm glad I had only heard the two snippets of Price of Fame and Al Capone. I don't think any of them are better than what was already chosen for the Bad album, but they're enjoyable to listen to. Al Capone is still my favorite, followed by I'm So Blue and Abortion Papers. I tend to think Streetwalker, Fly Away, and Cheater beat the other demos from the Bad sessions, but maybe that's because I've listened to them a lot.

The japanese first edition contains all the original mixes. It's rather common over at eBay. The number of the CD is 32 8P-200.

I got the first pressing for $8 at a local 2nd hand record store. I considered myself very lucky that day!
