So this launch party was LaToya's company's Ja-Tail deal, and I bet there is more to come if there is nobody looking after the kids.

Kids want to do a lot of things that are fun but not necessarily good for them. For example sneaking out of school to go drink beers at 17 was a lot of fun for me but not really that good at all. I'm sure Prince and Paris can find the fun in going to a Hollywood launch with the media and the celebs and the music and etc to be fun but it doesn't mean that it's good for them. You still require an adult to say "no that ain't good for you. wait till you are older". That's what is missing here.
 
^^^^..I wish I could of been a fly on the wall so I could hear the conversation that took place in that room. Their they are 3 Innocent little fish while the group of sharks circle around them...smdh. I am just really fed up with all this families BS.

Well, Prince sure looks like he's enjoying himself to me. Blanket probably wanted to go with his siblings. Anyway, as Ivy said before, just because they want to go doesn't mean that they should go.

On a different note, Paris looked absolutely stunning :)
 
Whomever set this up did a terrible job, in my opinion.

I mean, it almost appears that the "cans" are glued to the children's hands. I wonder if that was part of the deal, i.e. you have to hold the can for x-amount of minutes, because that's what it looks like to me.

Why does everything always have to be so T-A-C-K-Y when it comes to the Jacksons!
 
what gets me is..for those that watched the video..do you remember when they were introducing the drink the people were like..."oh he was a friend of your Dad's"....and LaToya said...yes he is your neighbor...and then Prince looks at Latoya and says..."our neighbor"? And she says yes. So now the kids didn't know that a "close" friends of their dad's was their neighbor?? Sounds stinky...rotten and fishy to me. The point I am trying to make is that if the kids didn't know that this dude was their "neighbor" and LaToya had to tell them...so they "believe her"...(obviously the kids are uninformed..or she is lieing about him being their "neighbor")....what else is she "telling" them and they are "believing" her??? They are kids...they feel they can trust her....but...what else do they "not know" and they are taking her word for it....is my point here..

I noticed that too. I don't think LaToya is telling the truth and I doubt the kids believe her if she isn't. It's just PR, they're not gonna call their aunt out in front of the cameras. I also liked how Paris said she would never do a reality show because she wants to keep some of her life private, with Miss Reality TV standing right next to her, lol.

Yeah, I would call it PR also. "Lying PR," but PR just the same. LOL!

I notice the Jacksons have a habit of doing that lately. They like saying "so & so" was Michael's friend, in an effort to give so & so some legitimacy.

Just like, if you notice, whenever the brothers are announcing a new project, they always say "Michael was going to do this with us also." Again trying to give something legitimacy by using Michael's name.

I resent your arguments as you sound like you are trying to censor what some of us are posting here. How on earth do posts on a private fan board impact on ppb's reputation? You can't seriously believe the general public are getting their ideas about ppb from a subforum on mjjc and where has the media picked up on the prostitute story?? I'll continue to call out what i think is blatant fu*kery, and all the criticism i've read in this thread is directed at ppb's guardians not 'out of control' children.

Why do you keep making this about the fans? Most who saw pics or footage of them at this event shook their heads also. How could you not? The appearance was just unnecessary. And the public always speak up about this kind of stuff.

And as for the kids getting something in return, what exactly is it that they think they're going to get out of publicly hanging around a bunch z-listers? Unless the Mr. Pink folks are sponsoring a project of Prince's or put up the money for Paris's movie, them being involved with these particular people is just head scratching. If they just have to get out there, why not show up at the latest movie premiere or a party for a book release. It's at these type of events you can maybe make some connections.

Don't be ridiculous. I'm not trying to censor anyone. I'm obviously not speaking about fans' posts on this board specifically but the type of responses fans leave on media articles, which are very similar. I'm just offering my point of view here, why would you "resent" me for that? There's nothing wrong with criticizing the adults in this situation but just be careful with how it reflects on the children. You may not believe it harms their reputation to say they're unsupervised and out of control, overexposed, going against their father's wishes, devalued, famous for nothing, etc. but I beg to differ. I didn't say the media picked up the prostitute story (not yet, anyway), that was an example of fans overreacting. We don't even know if the girl is a prostitute, someone just threw that out there and everyone jumps on it.

The reason I'm focusing on the fans is because we all care about the kids and their reputation (at least, I hope).

Prince and Paris are teenagers, they're not thinking that far ahead. You think if LaToya asks them if they want to go to a fancy party with her and dress up and ride a limousine, they're going to decline because they won't be able to make "connections"? Katherine and TJ should've been responsible enough to tell the children no but sadly I don't think they realize how tacky this all looks.

Gee... I thought u gave them more credit then that? :smilerolleyes: I guess not after all? I mean didn't u say they probably know why their cousins aren't also there with them and how they probably know they are being exploited but didn't care cause their having fun.

Anyways, my hope for MJ kids is that they soon realize when their of age that it's best to brand out on their own and not be in anyway involved in tacky and phony associations with any Jackson family members projects. That's if they actually want people to take what they sell seriously. Because I ain't given my money to someone like La Toya!

Now, I don't like this woman either, but, at least, I know a bit about her before I start judging...The "sex tape" was supposedly made with her then-husband (when talking about gold diggers, you should also talk about the reverse of the medal - older men who, in their frustration, use much younger women for their pleasure). I say "supposedly" because no one was ever sure, whether they were in those images or not.
And don't you worry, I don't think she's going to influence any little kids in a wrong way (first of all, because she's not bright enough). She is a mother herself. The only thing she could have done is tell Blanket about her little kid.

Not sure why some fans care at all about this woman. It's not like this was her fault. She didn't do anything bad to the kids, it was the Jacksons that are responsible for this.

In my opinion ANY WOMAN that makes a "sex tape" should be ashamed of themselves...IDC if the dude was her husband or not. Besides...it it past this now..it goes further than this woman. And were you at the event with this woman to KNOW what she said to anyone? Me either...so speculating what she said is just that...speculating. I care MORE about Blanket drinking that Pink Stuff and being pimped than I do about this woman.

Thank you for this link...yes it is very interesting...there is alot of speculation about WHO this woman really is. But like I said earlier..this situation is more about the kids being exploited...and if it is true that they were paid 1 million dollars to do this appearance...that is a shame because they are Millionaires MANY TIMES over..so the money isn't the option for 'THEM"...its an option for LaToya....Mr Pink...and Monica..NOT PPB
