I just want to make sure we are all on the same page

We allowed DL link for Full german TV version and edited USA Version

Will we also allow DL links for the Full UK TV version. ?


Also just so we are all on the same page - is it correct that ...
We will NOT allow DL links for the official DVD + bonus footage when it is released.
 
The estate are all ready on my ass about this, they are watching us and we are not permitted to upload or offer download links,

There reasoning is they want to continue the excitement however if we upload in full we are pretty much killing of their promotional campaign.

That would be ME .. based on prior discussion that we would allow DL links to the TV specials. before I got your memo here.
I have now deleted the thread above and left a message in request thread that we cant allow DL links to the doc at this time

Also just want to point out the ABC/ USA doc is not in full it's only 64 minutes of the 2 hour 11 min documentary.
This is going to put a damper on 2000 Watts :( but if they sent notice there isnt much we can do.
 
A TV doc is different at least in this case, this is going to dvd in February and is part of a planned roll out promotional campaign.

Guys from here on anything DL do your homework first before allowing, Mickey you did well in placing this thread so were one step there, going forward always soft delete the thread until we have exhausted all avenues to ensure we are protected.

When Michael was here we would have free reign within certain limits of course, now Michael is nothing but a commodity to Sony and the estate, they are watching waiting to jump at this point I don't think they have access to 2000 watts however we must assume so.

Hope this helps and I hope you all understand all I'm doing is protecting MJJC from closure due to copyright and believe me they could have done that by now based on the opportunity's they have had thus far.
 
Your right Mickey but what can we do, we have no choice they own the very thing we all use for our community and if they wanted to they could enforce us not to use his name his image anything, my view is give it a few months and we can quietly allow it.

No worries Rudy, just follow my previous post in the future, you as mod for that dept are as far as I am concerned ultimately responsible for it.
