Ok, here it is..:
Those 2 1/2 hrs really seemed like 1 hr!
So many funny, emotional, heartfelt reactions from all the people that were interviewed. I was expecting to at least cry a little, but that didn't happen. On the contrary....Michael was loved very much and that love was felt throughout the whole documentary.
The things I liked most:
-The choreography rehearsals for BAD with Jeffrey Daniel and Greg Burge (?) staying up all night at a New York hotel working on dance routines for the "Bad" video, trying new steps, completing eachother.
-Someone said Michael's face lit up, when he saw a woman's reaction to the crowd hysteria; "It's just like with The Beatles".
-Siedah and Michael, unseen footage…them singing together and Siedah singing it in a lower range as an example for Michael.
-Greg Philinganes playing IJCSLY on the piano and his way of talking overall
-Quincy saying that when Bruce, Michael and he felt goosebumps, they knew they had a special song.
-Joe Pytka (director TWYMMF) explaining why the waterhydrant was in the background of the choreography.
-Joe Pytka: "*** her and get it over with"...LMAO!! (sorry Tatiana)
-California Raisins part cracked me up again
-Steve Stevens talking about leaving a note out in DD. I want to see it again to find out what note he means.
-Quincy talking about when the syncopation of everything was right, Michael started dancing (if I remember it well)
-I knew the choreography of SM looked a lot like Fred Astair’s, but I never knew it was an homage from Michael to Fred Astaire.
-Kanye West about “Annie, are you ok” (x10times or so, hahaha). Funny.
-Jeffrey Daniel paying tribute to Don Campbell
-The tears of a lot of contributers. It gave me a warm feeling. Michael was loved very much.
-I can’t remember who said it, but someone said that Michael is a warm energy that just don’t go away. True.
-New to me: where ‘Shamone’ comes from. I always thought it was Michael’s invention.
There were also some other things that I didn’t like that much or I found to be less:
-I noticed Bruce Swedien is getting older
. That man has something about him I like very much.
-I also noticed that Joe Vogel was the only one that just summed up facts. I missed the emotion that all the other participants did have. But maybe it’s because the others actually have met Michael and he never has. He seemed a bit of an outsider in this whole documentary. But that's my observation, of course.
-When I saw the credits I noticed this movie was also dedicated to Michael's children and Katherine Jackson. There was no mention of Joe Jackson.
I find that to be very childish. Michael had two parents.
