A little thank you-note from Michael to Gottfried Helnwein.

Story behind the note:
Michael was an admirer of Gottfried's work (he's a painter/photographer). So, they arranged a meeting in Germany in 1988 and Gottfried photographed Michael for his 'Faces' series. And Michael left him that little note :)

He also painted a portrait after that photo in 1990:

And almost 7 years later Michael used some of Gottfried's art on his HIStory album for 'Little Susie' & 'Scream'.
*sigh* I love that he loved my favorite artist:girl_sigh::p

AUCTION ~ Michael Jackson's Personal Hand Annotated "Jonathan Living Seagull" Book ~ Michael had made hand annotations to his personal first edition copy of "Jonathan Livingston Seagull," including the full inside cover where he has written his thoughts on Jonathan Livingston Seagull, in blue ballpoint pen. This was one of Michael's favorite books and he has also signed and dated the book, June 23 '96.
''True greatness is not attained by sudden flight

But grows jealouse and leaves the trainer to return to the flock to Conspire to Kill'

This book, expected to take $5000 - $6000 at auction comes from the collection of a close friend and personal assistant of Michael's. . The book is in fair condition as pages are intact, but separated from the binding. All of Michael's writing is intact and legible. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.

^ I guess this was for someone who was called Michael as well.
 
I used to have a bunch of his handwriting. I had a whole folder for it. But it's a old hard drive that I can't access right now. But one of my favorites is the one with the rules for the Rubberhead Club and the Slim Tito contract.

I'll dig through my photobucket tomorrow and see if there's any I uploaded on there.

A king-size ivory bed sheet from the Fairmont Princess Hotel in Bermuda inscribed in blue by Michael in June 1991. Inscription reads, " 'Love God'/Michael Jackson 1998 [hand drawn arrow] ooo/ I love you Bermuda/ Michael Jackson/ Help the children." Michael was on holiday in Bermuda. The assistant manager of the Fairmont was asked to assist Michael while in Bermuda. Just before he left the hotel, Michael ran back into his room and wrote this message on the sheets he slept in.
