How do people know already what songs will be on the album? I can't find anything anywhere about it. Except Wikipedia, and I know enough to not trust Wikipedia all the time.

PS: Thank you for sharing the deluxe edition cover I've been looking for the regular cover in a size larger than 960x960. Hopefully I'll be able to find one; it'll be awesome for making wallpapers and such

Yes he does. I can literally list eight releasable songs right now if I wanted to. CGYWOOM, Men in Black, I Have This Dream, WMCIG solo version. Those are just four that I know for a fact are finished and releasable.



Oh, I'm sorry I didn't have a right to be angry because I'm getting two new songs and six I've already heard. It's not like you haven't listened to the leaks. We've waited years for a new album and it isn't new. And it's a waste.

Oh, you're allowed to exhibit anger, you'll just look silly while doing so. They should've let these releases collect dust because you belong to a small fraction of the general public who DL MJ's unreleased work.

This is just amusing. While all of you people go crazy with criticism of BAD 25, which had no problems aside from nitpicking, I'm suddenly judged for being irritated with this excuse for an album. Four leaked and four I leaked was totally fair. This is just an embarrassment to Michael's name.

*shrugs* you can waste money on songs we already have if you want to. I'll hold out until the next release.

Chances are CGYWOFM is a demo for Invincible.
Men in Black may make it to Dangerous 25.

As for WMCIG solo....the vocal snippets we've heard don't appear to do mj justice.

Of cousre there's new material out there. So far we only know a fraction of what's on the album.
But are you telling me that just be cause it leaked doesn't mean MJ went back and changed verses? That STTR and DYKWYCA demos aren't interesting?

I know you're all heart set on releasing previously leaked songs, but this? Are you kidding me? Two new songs is complete bull. I'm not buying this now.

Sorry to say but this is just way too hilarious.

First fans leak songs - which is illegal btw and then other fans download the songs - which is illegal as well. Then you have the nerve to complain they are releasing the leaked songs. Whose fault are those leaks? Fans. Who is being unrealistically demanding wanting to get leaked songs and then asking for not leaked songs to be released? Well You. Sorry but you cannot have your cake and eat it too. Leaked or not leaked these are songs that aren't officially released and could and would be released on albums. No one in their right mind would say "oh that fans illegally leaked and downloaded those songs, so we should release other songs". Why should they reward your illegal activities? I don't know what kind of fantasy land you live on but I strongly recommend that you return to the land of reality. So if these album consists of songs you have already heard, that's your fault and your fault only. (You meaning people who leak and people who download those songs). To people like me - people who stayed away from any leak as much as they can - they are new.

so please spare me the hypocrisy.

I also blame myself for listening the leaked tracks and not waiting but I'll be supporting the album to let the Estate know I got (for the most part) what I wanted. Remember guys, Branca and McClain are thinking on releasing material for decades, I assume.

Something tells me that they've done somethin quite amazing with LNFSG..

I hope that's the case. I'm really surprised they included that song. It sounds soo dated. God I really hope it sounds good I'm sure his vocals are amazing but

oh well I'll reserve judgement when I listen to it but I am disappointed. I just can't believe the estate didn't know the fans didn't want that song, there have been of negative comments here..

either way I love all the other songs in it and I still am very excited for this album

I only see he mentioned APWNN and DYKWYCA. Ah well. I'll see the listing when I pre-order tomorrow anyway. It's really no big deal. I was just wondering

Sorry, he deleted a couple tweets. Someone asked him if Blue Gangsta was included, along with A Place with No Name and Chicago. He responded with "Yes." Another person then asked about She Was Lovin' Me, and he said he believed he heard it but didn't see an official printout of the track list.

Cher Lloyds next album is preorder and I featurs a new song and a old one from last year but you can't see the full listing

The cover is a hot mess, but I can't wait for the album!
Good on them for including the original versions. Glad that the song Xscape is now getting an official release, too.

Also, for people complaining that it may be a lot of songs we have heard in some form or another already, whats your problem??
Anything that has leaked in the past SHOULD be released in some official form. Not everybody is like us who keep tabs on this. There are tons of people who maybe have never heard any of the previously leaked songs until this album.

I think it's fair to complain about getting only 2 new songs, because the Estate has made the obviously financially-minded decision to only put 8 songs on the album. Let's not kid ourselves here : they COULD have filled that CD with 80 minutes of material if they'd wished. But they'd rather sell another 8-song CD 4 years down the line. On "Michael", we got 7 new songs, and even THAT disappointed a lot of people back then (yeah, my copy has 10 MJ songs on it; sucks for you if yours doesn't).

Basically, we're being greedy, but so is Sony.

Despite the disappointment, and the fact that only, what, one of those 8 songs was actually written by MJ, I'll be buying this on day one.

I'd rather see Hotstreet on the album then Love Never Felt So Good. The mix I have of it from a couple years ago is fantastic compared to the raw 1982 version.

LNFSG is just too dated.

I like the cover. Better then that crap on the Michael album.

Also, of COURSE Sony is holding back. Any label would. They need to trickle out unreleased material every few years over time to maintain that income! They are never going to make a 2 CD album with all unreleased songs in one shot.

embarrassment to michael's name? please!! That's only your opinion. If you hadn't listened to those songs you wouldn't be talking nonsense. Spare us the dramatics . 99% of the fans and general public have never heard these songs and they are amazing and will continue michael's legacy

But I think think this is the best we have at the moment. And it's really not a confirmation, just what one person says he heard. And he doesn't mention all the songs, just a couple.

Regardless of what we're arguing about, it's no doubt that this is a wasted opportunity. A CD can hold 78 minutes of material and the estate decided to include eight songs. Given that Michael has dozens of songs that could be released right now, they could have/should have given more. At least ten or eleven songs.

I acknowledge that I shouldn't have listened to leaks. But does that mean they deserve to make up an entire album? No. This is not being nitpicky. This is just laziness.

A Place With No Name has not leaked in full. We have a tiny snippet. So that is new to me. I never listened to the Tricky Stewart abortion of Slave To The Rhythm nor have we heard the original version so that is new to me. We have never heard the original version of DYKWYCA... new. Chicago... new. She was Loving Me... new. That's 5 out of 8 and the others are also very welcomed by me.

Given that Michael has dozens of songs that could be released right now, they could have/should have given more. At least ten or eleven songs.

I think it's been told more than once that the Estate has material for 1 maybe 2 new albums but not more than that. That means less than 20 finished releasable songs. Also it's clear that they are trying to get as much as they can from what they have and choosing the best stuff - e.g. IAAL and DIG are not on this CD because they are weaker than the material included. This approach, unfortunately has zero artistic integrity, but any chance for an artistic integrity was already ruined by the previous album and now there is not much choice anyway. So this CD is aimed for the biggest profit. And as much as I wish they introduced some logic and consistency into their releases, if I were in their shoes with the ATV catalog under a loan and 3 kids to feed, simply business-wise I'd probably do the same thing they are doing now.

Yes they have the contract for 10 releases which they are only halfway through, and they need to preserve the material to fulfill the terms. But for you it's $13 for 19 songs and 2 videos. It's nothing, not even worth talking about. Let's not forget that some people paid a lot more for some of those songs before they leaked. That's their real historic value (the demos, of course, not the remixes) - hundreds and thousands of dollars. You're getting them almost for free.

A Place With No Name has not leaked in full. We have a tiny snippet.

I think that a lot of people are just as disappointed as you are, but I'm not sure they're ready to admit it just yet; the hype train is hard to get off from when you've just gotten on it!

But people have already gone from "I don't care about the new mixes, just give me the original demos" to "but the new mixes will be new, so we shouldn't complain".

But still, Day One for me.
