Tito Jackson reveals Michael Jackson death ''anger'' telling Jeremy Kyle he was ‘angry at the whole situation’

Jun 11, 2014 15:31

'If my brother did share a bed with a child it was out of naiveness,' adds Jackson 5 guitarist

Michael Jackson’s older brother Tito Jackson has revealed his feelings on the King of Pop’s death, Conrad Murray’s arrest and the cloud that will forever remain over Michael due to numerous child abuse cases.

In a candid interview on The Jeremy Kyle Show Tito said how people always had a grudge against his brother.

“Well it was very frustrating because my brother was the biggest star and I’ve always felt that there was people that didn’t want him to succeed,” said the 60-year-old, before he told the host of his anger following MJ’s death.

Tito reveals "anger" over his brother's death

“I just don’t understand that a doctor can forget that there is a patient in another room,” said Tito of Michael’s personal physician. “I wasn’t angry at Conrad Murray, I was angry at the whole situation.”

Conrad Murray was convicted of administering a lethal dose of an anaesthetic drug to Jackson in 2009. Murray served two years of a four year sentence and in January of this year a US court rejected his bid to have his conviction for the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson overturned.

Tito also spoke of the moment he found out about this brother’s death. After one of his son’s informed of news story on Michael’s cardiac arrest, he put on CNN before driving to the hospital.

He received the news of the star's death from sister Janet on the phone during a petrol station stop. Tito said Janet didn't even have to say the words.

He recalled: “I just knew from that, she didn’t even have to say anything. I just knew from that. I stayed there for another half an hour…”

When speaking about Michael’s child abuse cases, Tito said the news was “unbelievable” and that Michael was always “different”.

“Well, he was different, Michael never had that childhood… he never grew up. His life was so different in so many ways,” the Jackson 5 guitarist explained.

As Jeremy quizzed if there could be any truth to the allegations, Tito replied.

“I don’t know because knowing Michael, it depends on what behaviour you’re talking about,” said Tito.

“I would think it was more naive. I don’t think he would ever hurt a kid… maybe they were watching a movie and fell asleep in the bed.”

Tito dismissed accusations that the Jackson family had paid off people to cover up child abuse.

“Families being paid off? I haven’t heard that one,” he said to the host. “They weren’t paid by my family.”

Tito also went on to reveal that the Jackson’s planned a massive comeback but with Michael passing away before the This Is It tour even began, they didn’t get the chance.

“I haven’t seen This Is It, I just don’t want to watch the last moments of my brother’s life,” he said.

“The brothers were planning on joining that show. Then from that show we were going to tour the world,” he revealed.

Big Reunion stars 3T vowed to help raise Michael Jackson's children after his death.

That interview bothered me. He said "I don't think he would ever hurt a kid". That word, 'think' bothers me. Doesn't he have more faith in his own brother than that? Shit, if that was me, I would be like "No g-d damn way in hell would he ever touch a child for his own sexual gratification or harm a child."

But that's just me, I guess.

It also bothers me that he called his brother "different"- and of course,he's not the first person to call Michael 'different', 'weird', 'odd', 'off', etc. Sorry, but I don't think any of those applies to Michael. How does one define what "different" or "weird" is, anyway? Aren't we all different? Different from each other? Thank god for that. Michael was Michael, and that's all there is to that.

I don't think Tito meant anything bad when he said that Michael was "different" But nevertheless, he could have been a lot more careful about saying that. Most if not all of the media are constantly looking for the next chance they will have to trash Michael. With the situation going on with Wade and Murray's new trash campaign, Michael's fans and supporters, (And even Michael's family themselves), don't need any more drama. And I sometimes can't blame people for getting the wrong ideas when Michael's own family leaves their statements about him open to interpretation like this.

Why are you looking for faults in the interview? I think he did a good job.

You cannot deny that MJ was different. I am not saying different is a bad thing. MJ was different/unique/ one of a kind. Probably why so many did, and still do love the man.

Whoever wrote that article for The Mirror is very selective in what parts they have put into it. I have just watched the interview online and Tito was very clear on the allegations against MJ.

Tito says with such confidence:
"Knowing my brother, that is not possible."

"I think if a kid slept in his bed, it would be a innocent thing."

"It wouldn't be - "I want you, so come sleep in my bed."

He was also asked if anyone in the family would not defend MJ against the abuse allegations. Tito replied in with a strong
"No, no, no. Not at all. "

When talking about the allegations, Tito also mentions that there were people in the business who did not want him to succeed.

Please nobody post this anywhere yet, as I still have loads to do.

any opinions or suggestions, or noticed any mistakes I have made?

Sorry if it's a bit all over the place, writing things or blogging isn't exactly my strongest point.

Good job :) Please make sure that you protect your identity well, these people are not stable and don't seem to have any limits when it comes to bad behaviour, and once they get wind of your posts they might come at you.

I have some screenshots in previous pages of this thread where Mike Par is harassing people on twitter.

June 13, Motion to seal hearing for Safechuck.

Another significant date in Michael's life... *sigh* I swear this is being done on purpose. :( I'm getting scared again...

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

Unfortunately haters managed to hijack the narrative about MJ on Wikipedia

Can't someone just keep posting a short statement every time the page is hijacked, something that just shows the information is incorrect? This is not good since after the album Xscape lots of people went to visit that page to learn about Michael. What they learned is not going to make them buy more music from his catalog.

I noticed. Haha! Good, just let them try! I highly doubt they have a chance as wordpress don't require you to ad your name, and also the email registered is in a name related to MJ, as is all of my MJ related accounts. so....Good luck to them on finding out who I am. :tease:

I'm not looking for faults. I didn't see the actual interview, I only went by the article- in hindsight I understand this was a bad thing to do, I'll admit. And the article just sounded like he was throwing Michael under the bus. That was the issue I took with it. But I will see if I can find the actual interview itself and I'll watch it. Maybe that will change my mind.

As for the comment about Michael being "different"... I dunno. I guess I just don't see it in the same light you do. Based on my own personal experiences, calling somebody "different" has always meant something negative so whenever I hear that, the word automatically has a negative connotation. Even if it's not what the speaker/author intended, that is simply how I take it.

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

in USA court documents are considered public. Safechuck has filed his complaint sealed. This is a hearing to show cause why it was filed sealed and why it should stay sealed.

Given how the judge made Robson claim public with redaction, I'm gonna assume the same will happen for the Safechuck claim - public with redaction.

From legal standpoint sealed, public or redacted doesn't make any difference but from media perspective if the complaint becomes public or public with redaction expect media stories about it.

Funny how they filed it sealed, but managed to tip off Diane Dimond three days before this suit was even filed in the court... just in time to arrive on the eve of Xscape's debut.-_-

Good! It'll be good for people to see what they're really like, nobody in their right mind would use these people as a source of MJ info when they realise how crazy they really are.

Above? I presume you are speaking of the faces on the blog I posted on the previous page.

Is there? Since you mention it, I guess so. I always presumed the crazed look in their eyes was due to them taking illegal substances of some sort.

Not a shock anymore a bunch of perfect strangers like us are better deffenders than Michael's whole family together, :coffee:

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

Okay. So after watching the Jeremy Kyle episode with Tito Jackson, I take back what I said earlier. Tito, to me, came across as very open and very honest regarding everything that was asked of him, and I respect him for that.

Throughout the whole interview, Tito answered questions thoughtfully and honestly. The only time he seemed to really mess up is when it came to Michael. As anyone who has ever lost somebody close to them knows, you can be fine one minute, but the minute your loved one is mentioned, it can be very difficult to hold a conversation. And Tito himself even said that he has yet to properly grieve Michael's passing. So I think there is the possibility that he was a little choked up, perhaps even a little nervous, and he sort of just "flubbed" his responses. There's also the fact that this Jeremy Kyle person is rushing him through the interview, too. So while Tito is doing his best to answer questions thoughtfully and honestly, as he's giving one answer, Jeremy is already asking the next question, thus rushing Tito through his responses. This certainly doesn't help matters.

Now, I'm not making excuses for him. Like everyone else, I do think he could have, and should have, given better responses to the questions regarding Michael. But I do not think there is any doubt in his mind regarding Michael's innocence, and I do believe that Mirror article took the quotes out of context to make them sound much worse than they really are. And I hate to admit it, but I also cannot deny it: I fell for it hook, line and sinker.

I actually enjoyed listening to Tito, and would have love to have heard more, and would have loved to have heard him discuss his life, his experiences, more in depth. Ninety-nine percent of the subject matter, if not 100% of it, I already knew.

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

Good job Tito!

I still hate the Jeremy Kyle show though

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

I too was angry at Tito after someone posted that Mirror article yesterday, but now I see it was Mirror's doing to make Tito's answers more ambiguous than they were. The tabloid media at it again...

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

Anyone know what the heck is up with W.R's eye? Well, not only his eye, but his general appearance. He's been looking like total sh*t lately. I presume that partly his physical appearance would have suffered because of the stress of carrying these lies, but this much and the eye...? It looks like he has a possible medical condition of some sort. I remember seeing a picture of him in late last year, and his eye looked a little off back then, but now it looks much, much worse.

Another thing... Wade posted a link to this on his FB earlier with the words "Forge meaning. Build identity. And then invite the world to share your joy." and then soon deleted it.

It is quite interesting actually. Have a look at it, maybe you will notice why he deleted it.

7:28 - is particularly interesting.

Hmmm...

So is he in the process of "forging meaning"?

From that website:

But over time, I've come to feel that the truth is irrelevant. We call it finding meaning, but we might better call it forging meaning.

So these are the type of things he reads to rationalize his behavior to himself?

Someone needs to sue WR or Safechuck once these allegations are proven false to make think people think twice about coming forward with bogus claims

I believe MJ's kids would have good chances of winning civil lawsuits against many in this regard .

Yeah if they can prove that emotional stress. They would have to have a breakdown, & go to therapy too to prove it all. They would have to show the severe effect this had on them and their functioning.

I wouldn't think that would be hard to do-a therapist is just an "expert" and you can find one pretty easily to say that you were molested as a child. Katherine, TJ and the kids' attorney would have a pretty good case, I'd think. This just needs to stop.

Paris in particular would have a good chance, she already has a proven history of extreme psychological distress which lead to a suicide attempt.

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

^^Yeah but in court they have to show that this particular action by the 2 shakedowners was the cause of the suffering which was a direct cause of them going to therapy. They can't say they had a crisis before, like Paris with the suicide attempt^^, because the attorneys for the other side will argue that her issues stem from prior causes and has nothing or little to do with the current case. They will say she was fragile mentally prior to this, and on, and on. The kids would have to show that they could not attend school due to the distress; show hospitalization & therapy; show how their functioning decreased; like failing school grades, difficulty sleeping, difficulty with daily living skills, and all this has to be tied to what Wade & Chuck did. Of course we don't know everything, but there is no indication now that these things has happened to them.
