They’re trying but spreading false information is not helping anyone.

Wow...that is new info for me. I've only known Charles as someone who provided really positive articles and debunking the hullabaloo that followed after Michael's death. There was a mention on his MJ board history before, but it wasn't revealed much.

He used to trash mj big time on other forums imply many things about him. Those who were around at the time either shake their heads or laugh at his fakeness over the years.

Good Lord! This is from Charles Thomson, who wrote that brilliant piece on 'shameful journalism' when Michael passed away.
I had read a few other things in the last year or so that made me raise an eyebrow, but really? He must be nuttier than a fruitcake to actually believe any of this. I have no respect for any of these people.

I'm assuming he's talking to another fan there. Harsh, but totally reasonable in my opinion. Michael did go over board with the surgery, which he's totally entitled to of course.

Again, harsh, but totally reasonable. Outside of the fan world, MJ fans tend to be looked at as strange and fanatical. Claiming, as a fan, that MJ had only two surgeries - people won't take you seriously.

Meh, I disagree, but whatever. He's not insulting MJ. He says that the song was not credible for Michael's public persona. But then again, in "Place With No Name" he sings about getting out of his car and looking what he needed to fix, which is hardly believable. But that's art, it doesn't have to be 100% realistic.

Again, disagree. I think Landis made some really bad comments about Michael and I don't like that. But again, totally reasonable statement. Everyone can decide for themselves if they think someone is funny or not. I haven't met Landis, maybe he's super nice in person. I don't know. (and don't care much to be honest)

But I think if pushed, I'd say I don't agree with whatever went on regards Michael and cosmetic surgery.

I'm not sure of the context, or his word choice, or anything like that - although I used to post on a forum where Charles was a regular and he had similar criticisms of Michael and the fanbase back then. But I think you can be a fan of Michael and be critical of whatever it was Michael did when he changed his appearance cosmetically.

I think that is a good perspective, it may have been infuriating (which can be a knee-jerk situation sometimes to fans that are usually on defense) sometimes, but overall it's his opinion that most don't agree with.

It was tape to reduce swelling on the nose area. Done all the time for people who have had rhinoplasty on the nose, usually applied for anywhere up to a year after the surgery. That pic of MJ everyone uses as evidence of a fake nose [the red shirt court date] he must've just left it on. We know from the autopsy he slept with the tape over his nose.
