Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

when was the railroad build at all? I am going through books. Was it there when he bought the ranch?
 
If my memory serves me correct, Neverland ranch was built in 1982, Michael purchased it in 1987 and moved in in 1988..

No, it for sure was not built until 1993.. construction began November, it is unclear exactly when it ended. I have seen reports stating not completed as late as Feb 1994, but I can't state THAT part for a fact. All I can say is it for sure did not get built until Nov. 1993 and construction lasted through the month of December for sure.For those who are not convinced by documents that the train station was not their in 1992, there are news reports from 1992 with footage of Neverland.. It was not there!

train station yes but railroad? Or railroad was build together with the station?
 
Adrian Grant in his book writes that Michael moved to Neverland in May 1988.

I am done with the books now.
 
It's not letting edit to add this little 'trick' I use for those who are not too familiar with the layout of Neverland.. When looking for the train station, keep your eye out for the tennis court, that would be the closest attraction to the trainstation.. in pics from a distance, most pics will show at least a part of this 'triangle' I look for.. The pool, tennis court, and the windy sidewalk.. It makes somewhat of a 3 point triangle to pin point the area... When you spot that, you know it's in the general area of the train station. and just FYI IF he ever tries to say there are more than one train station.. While the train does have the ability to stop at other 'stops' that have a waiting area, that is the only actual TRUE station.. The 'Katherine Jackson Train Station'. IDK what is going on with my posts, it does not have the two links I added and the format is all strange?I shared a visual of Neverland where you can see the 3 points (Tennis court/pool/windy sidewalk) to visualize the area near the train station.. And I also shared a visual of what the 'flamingo' train station looks like so you can see it is more like a bus stop than an actual train station.. Anyone else having an issue like this? maybe I should get rid of cookies.. idk

It was built in 1982 (it is stated in the sales brochure).

Wade Robson's allegations of child sex abuse against Michael Jackson have reportedly been disproved by his own mother in historic court documents.

Michael Jackson biographer Mike Smallcombe claims a testimony from Joy in 1993 shows at least some of Wade's allegations in the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland cannot be true.

Speaking to Mirror Online, Mr Smallcombe said the case hinged on Wade claiming the abuse started when his family went to the Grand Canyon and he stayed behind with *****.

But Mr Smallcombe claims his mother Joy told a court in 1993 that Wade did join them on them trip.

He points to Joy's testimony under oath as proof that Wade has lied.

He said: "In the documentary, Wade Robson described how he and his then 10-year-old sister stayed in Jackson’s bedroom the first two nights they were ever at Neverland in January 1990.

"Wade then claimed that his family left to go to the Grand Canyon, while he stayed behind with Jackson alone at Neverland for the next five days.

"Wade claimed it was then when he was first abused by Jackson, going into graphic detail about what had allegedly happened over the course of several nights."

Mr Smallcombe pointed to Joy's testimony in the Jodie Chandler case against Jackson in the early 90's.

The ***** biographer continued: "His mother, Joy Robson, testified under oath in a deposition in 1993/1994 in relation to the Jordie Chandler case that Wade had actually gone with them on that trip to the Grand Canyon, before the entire family returned to Neverland for the second time the following weekend.

"Joy Robson had no reason to lie about this; she openly admitted that Wade stayed with Jackson alone on other occasions.

"She could have said, ‘Wade stayed behind with Michael when we went away to the Grand Canyon between weekends’, it wouldn’t have made a difference."

Mr Smallcombe then went on to detail what Joy claimed happened, which goes against her son's allegations.

He continued: “Her words in that deposition were, ‘We went to the ranch for the first weekend, and then we left and went to the Grand Canyon, and we toured. We came back to the ranch for the following weekend’.

“She was asked to elaborate on who had gone to the Grand Canyon, and she said ‘my family’. There was no mention of Wade staying behind.

“To confirm this, later on, she revealed that the first time Wade stayed alone with Jackson at the ranch without her was actually in 1993.

"She said, ‘My son has never been to the ranch without me up until this year (1993)’.”

Smallcombe added that when testifying in defence of Jackson in 2005, more than a decade after his mother’s deposition, Wade also testified that the only time he had been at Neverland without his mother was sometime in 1992 or 1993, when Macaulay Culkin and Jordie Chandler were also there.

Mr Smallcombe continued: "When giving evidence and asked if his sister had stayed in the bed with him ‘the entire time’ they were at Neverland on that first trip, Wade answered ‘yes’.

"Meaning he never stayed alone with Jackson during that trip.

"His mum corroborated that when giving evidence the following day."

Mr Smallcombe has also pointed to Wade admitting that he 'did not know' whether what happened that night 'came from (his) own recollection or it was told to (him) by someone else’.

Mr Smallcombe alleged: "In one email to his mother, he also asked her scores of questions about what had happened that first weekend at Neverland.

"That was when Wade was drafting a book about the alleged abuse, having failed to get the Cirque du Soleil job with the Estate.

"All of this shows that Wade’s story about being abused that first time, while the rest of his family had supposedly left the ranch to go to the Grand Canyon, is false.

"Of course, while this doesn’t categorically rule out that Jackson abused Wade Robson, it does make you wonder if this extremely detailed and key story in the documentary has been fabricated."

This is a good find. Id like to see her deposition transcript since its not online. That would go a long way as more proof of Robsons lies.
 
I think the Estate lawyers have this deposition transcript, since they worked on the Chandler case.

LTV as social media highly value openness and promotion of the discussion about important things to the society. Also about those things that are hard to talk about and that includes different taboo. The movie is not just about the personality of Michael Jackson but it also makes ppl to think and discuss about the pedophilia and topics of sexual violence in general.
Before the purchase of the movie we were aware of the available information and also discussed about the demonstration of the movie. While making our decision to include this movie in our program, we have carefully considered what kind of discussion it will bring in Latvia's society. This is a way for audience in Latvia to watch it legally and for free, the movie that made such a huge discussions around the world and estimate it critically. LTV will not change its decision.

So basically media admits that they know they are lies but their aim to make it huge so ppl would talk about it more. But that is something that we already knew before. The thing is that other ppl think that it is true and they even can't think that media by themselves know it is lies but demonstrate it anyway.

That is lot of nonsense. Oprah was trying to make that claim as well. The issue could have been discussed without LYING on MJ. This film did not help the issue. Many people did not want to see the continue trash bashing on MJ, some others were just haters of MJ; the rest are picking out the lies these 2 liars did. So that "excuse" is bull. In fact, it is doing a disservice to the issue. Now people can see how far people will go to lie even on a serious issue.

That's either bad english or they openly call him a pedo, and that people need / want to look at it.
The german TV station that airs LN wrote a similar BS excuse standard reply to my complain.
Like "...it's become such a big thing... we just can't help and have to give people what they want to see... ".
None of these TV stations ever seriously thought about what could be wrong about it.
All they see is ratings.

they wrote me in Latvian. Our language. I translated but that is what I understood as well that they kind a called Michael a pedo.

I was so angry about that response. I translated from English to my language 2 and half pages with facts. I am going to publish all of it and will write that TV station didn't care about that cause they want ppl to talk about it even if it is lies.

I know there is a lot of effort on contacting tv stations and radio to keep them from either playing LN or canceling MJ music and that is awesome. I also think though we should reach out to thsoe that are still playing his music. For instance 80's on 8 on sirius/XM is global... and they are still playing MJ.. everyone should drop them a line and thank them for that. They still have thriller photo on their front page.. so go to ....https://www.siriusxm.com/80son8 and drop them a thank you.

It can not be possibe that James ment anouther train station or anouther stop of the train were the abuse took place cause they show in LN exectly the big trainstation with the clock outside when James described the sexual acts he performes with Michael at "the train station".
