Probably fake. Again, if it's real, the E$tate would have it taken down immediately.

I dunno. The Estate and Sony have been pretty lax about leaks over the last few years.

Especially since these leaks are generally super low-quality and mostly instrumentals anyway I don't think the Estate would sweat too much about ten seconds of an over-compressed audio file of a bootleg of an unfinished track from 2001 being leaked. Besides due to the above attributes even the real snippets are hard to separate from fake ones.

Well.. CGYWOOM is real and the snippets are not taken down... :) ;)

Those snippets are so short. You really can't tell much of anything other than it sounds like an extension of the song Invincible.

what about all the other leaked songs like tyla that are on youtube?

I also think it's def. fake, but let's be honest: the estate not taking something down does not have to mean it's real. All of the snippets and songs from Brad's seminar is up on youtube, even the "hq enhanced" full Throwing Your Life Away which is basically a full almost finished song.

Regarding "Angel";

I have to admit when the first snippet was put out, I had high hopes (I'm starving) it was real, but later it just seems like it was some Frankenstein experiment, judged by all of the chopped up snippets. Looking closer at the snippets, it does seem like an almost full song with vocals by either someone (singer + backing vocals) mixed with copied mj vocals, or just mj vocals overall manipulated or whatever.

Here is a video with all the snippets

I'll give you a cookie if anyone manage to track down where the "you know it" falsetto line is from after the "aha!" (aha might be from DS?=

And here's just the full instrumental:

The instrumental is pretty well made. Borrows from Teddy Riley and Bryan Loren. I thought it was made by kai, but he later said no

the aha is from 1:35 in she drives me wild(or3:05) its speed up and as a result the pitch is higher and its also not on time with the beat

the verses sound like speed demon verses.
idk where the you know it is from but im guessing its in a stacked harmony(on another song) bc i would recognize it if it were a lead

Yes, that's where the "aha" is from! Knew I had heard it many times. Either just a filtered out "aha" or the person had the acapella.

I bet the "you know it" is probably from some acapella extended vocals or something buried underneath a song which the maker has access too

Actually, I believe the "aha" is taken from the Ghosts demo acapella (which leaked the same year the angel snippets were made) because one of the ad libs is also taken from it. I made a rough recreation a snippet in HQ using only the Ghosts demo acapella and the angel snippets/instrumental and it sounds like it to me. What do you guys think? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O8r837stO6cf1p3J1hXoYV7x9n1uC4Li/view?usp=sharing

this thread's a year old but the "you know it" adlib's taken from the Ghosts multitrack. the verses are a soundalike's vocals
