Doing a U-turn on earlier statement. Moving pics of Michael delicious, of course, powerful etc etc. But the infamous A&D photo is just ... I mean, that right there is Michael owning his sexual power and it's ... oh gawd, was gonna say 'exploding', er ... very tired ... brain all over place ... um.

Well, anyway, just wanted to establish insistence that static photo has at least as much, if not more, power than any moving image. Just sayin'

Now this little darlin' right here. For me it's all about the restraint. It's where his hands are *not* as much as where they are. And how beautifully they frame ... mm, everything. How the V-neck of his t-shirt so beautifully frames the hollow of his neck (which I am increasingly obsessed with, you have NO idea). The hair. The snake hips. Wild abandonment plus so much restraint. Ooh!

She's back. The Agent is back. She's on the move. She is relentless and she will not stop.

My little slideshow starts with this image. It is almost my top top fave. It also is my celebration image from the day I finally realised the Dangerous outfit is my fave. I gaze at this one endlessly. All hail your desktop shuffle. Can never get enough of this one. I cannot worship this photo enough.

This trio of gifs is mesmerizing... The first one is omg. So sexy. The v of his shirt that's showing just a bit of chest... the glean of his sweat...the bend of his legs and how he's relaxing into the motion, with the wind in his hair, and that look on this face... God.

the second one though - WOW - I haven't seen that one before and something about the simple "come hither" gesture and his stage presence is just :love: ❤️🌊... Was this during a song or is this just how he operates in life? lol

And Dirty Diana...I can't even talk about the Dirty Diana video... lol

I don't think we have talked about his ab movements, but we definitely need to, because I think about them constantly lol. He had to have had an insanely strong core with all of the stuff he does. He is so fluid in everything. He makes every single thing look easy and like it just pours from him.

And agreed - any kind of lip biting at all just sends me into the stratosphere of longing lol

Sorry to jump in on MM90's area but I go wild for anything TII related. The second one is from TII / IJCSLY. Judith Hill just sang a bit that (I think) Michael was supposed to sing (not sure) so he's beckoning her over.

Anyway, sorry. I'm like a Pavlov's dog with this one. It's one of my fave songs in the film. I can't control myself. I'm off.

I understand what you're saying, but for me there is no separation between me being mesmerized by his dancing and me drowning in his overwhelming sexiness. I find all the Dangerous performances almost painful to watch because of the visceral impact they have on my entire physical being lol. I find all of his movements, his style, his suit, his everything just utterly devastatingly attractive. I am amazed and taking in all of the brilliance of the choreography, and appreciating it thoroughly... but

at a base level, I am a thirsty lady who can't get enough of a hot man in a tie who can move like he's trying to set me on fire.

God, I'm in love.

PS: Static pictures are brilliant and beautiful, but his movements destroy everything in their path. His movements are what propel this obsession to new heights daily lol.

Also, once again, your signature gif has me ****** mesmerized. I'm sorry, but I can't handle it. Please don't ever get rid of it lol. I just need to talk about it for a second though, because that's where we are at in the day. I have been super busy and unable to stare as deeply into each photo as I want to, but that gif keeps appearing every time I look at this thread and I just can't move on.

To put it bluntly, his smile, movement, energy, and sexiness in that gif is so overwhelming to me that I would gladly invite him to destroy every part of my life, leave me for dead, and still say thank you.

RIGHT? To continue from the Pic of the Day thread and his vulnerability and the instinct to protect him and keep him safe...

this is the exact dilemma of loving Michael Jackson in the way many of us do. On one hand I want to **** him, wildly, and the other I want to protect him and take care of him and nurture him lol. He's the kind of man who simultaneously triggers both of these really really intense (somewhat) oppositional responses within me, which I can imagine is part of what makes him so hypnotizing, and hard to calm down about. When one response settles down, it's only because the other is ramping up.

But then, he also manages to be crazy sexy and crazy adorable at the same time SO frequently that half the time I'm experiencing both responses at the same time and this is why my head explodes and I start screaming and shit lol. Ugh. I'm such a mess for him.

We could go around in circles for ever on this, I think. I agree with you and yet I sort of don't. Static photos are, I think, just as destructive as moving images of Michael. I'm thinking of the infamous MM90 photo and, also, now the new one she just posted. I'm calling it 'Beautiful Restraint' because that's what I see. I already said somewhere else (losing track of the threads, lol) that the photo speaks to me of wild abandonment but also beautiful restraint. The tension between the two, oh my! The placement of his hands and knowing what he is NOT doing with those hands just sends me ...

Don't get me wrong. I don't see this as a negative disagreement. I see it as the most delicious kind of disagreement. I mean, talking about static images vs. moving images of Michael. Sounds good to me.

I’ve been thinking about this and I think it’s just too close to call. While Michael’s movements will always be the primary things that destroy me, what I love about the static pictures is that they capture a specific moment… a slight nuance in expression, or a carefully placed hand, or (dare I say) curl lol…. It captures a still of those incredible movements and allows me to zero in and focus on what made a particular moment of his existence exude so much power or energy. It’s an amazing thing that’ll be able to really appreciate his embodiment with such focus. Though I’m mostly talking about photos of action shots, I think this applies to all.

This is the same reason I love gifs. Getting to watch one particular set of movements repeat over and over, sometimes slowed down, I get to settle into Michael in a different way. It’s like I can gain appreciation for all the effort and skill and grace that would otherwise be lost to the whole slew of glorious movements that together make the brilliant performance. Sometimes when I see gifs of him I’m actually amazed that someone was able to catch and appreciate a small moment enough to recognize it for what it’s worth and make a gif.

For example… there is a specific gif somewhere deep in this thread that drives me absolutely insane. It’s a dangerous tour gif and it is zeroed in on his crotch. And his hand is reaching down with one finger slowly tracing over the outline of his…I don’t want to say bulge but… you get the idea. It’s like direct, explicit touch that is almost like he’s teasing himself and us and it is OMG it is so insanely hot. I saw it so long ago and did try to find it again but haven’t been able to. sometimes I wonder if I imagined it lol. All I know is that whatever I saw was stunningly arousing and perfectly represents what I’m talking about. Michael makes so many movements throughout eAch performance that appreciating all of them is so hard. What both pics and gifs help us do is slow down and really, genuinely, sink into what’s happening in front of us and take all of him in…*

*yes I know this the actual dream for some of us… let’s not go there
 
Did I mention that some version of the Billie Jean thrusting was the first clip of Michael dancing where I was like oh shut THIS is Michael Jackson?? Is this supposed to turn me on? I was confused if that was the intention because hot damn. I love that part of the song so much


Also, how dare you even tease me with that bottom gif. One of my favorite ever performances. But that moment when he slowly grinds and thrusts and the way his hand moves and almost cups his…

I feel shaky. I am mesmerized and can watch just that bit for the rest of my life.
