Bad news everybody, it turns out we've been, tricked, played, maybe even bamboozled.
Turns out, the mastering on Apple for Thriller 40 DID get replaced to a new one, however, the mastering that is now being used on Apple for Thriller 40 is just the 2014 CD remaster, with the only difference being that on Apple it's like, half a DB or so louder.
Of course, what this means is that this is most likely a placeholder mastering, just like the 1988 remaster that was used previously, and it will be replaced with the 2022 remaster once the album comes out.

Maybe it's the impact of LN. Warehouse & logistics worker might think MJ's a pedo and therefor don't care about his releases anymore. Just a thought, though.
 
Even today's Wikipedia knows better than the Estate about how to promote Thriller 40 lol

With MJ fans literally roving the entire earth for new MJ content, any promotion they'd make would pretty much instantaneously be consumed. The leaking is practically unstoppable.
 
Heeeeeeeeeey. I just caught something since i got off work & realized the medley on The end part of that Snippet "what a lovely way to go" sounds like the bridge part to "Heartbreaker" around 2:11

I emailed HMV and they confirmed the vinyl version has two LPs but it's not an HMV exclusive. Could this mean that there is no 1-LP edition?
So much confusion 2 days before the release date!!

Actually, I just noticed that now the HMV website says "1 disc" for the vinyl edition... :(
