How was Streetwalker strong enough for Bad?

That's true. This was confirmed by Bruce Swedien.
Also, this info appears in the booklet of Stevie's album Characters.
Does it? I've tried to find some pictures of the booklet on Discogs, but had no luck.
Can you point me some directions, man?

Michael should have released JGF as a standalone single. That way Streetwalker could have been saved.

Now this is funny. Although people sleep on Get It, it has some of the best vocals of MJs solo career and he laid them during the 87 Japan tour, wow.
People understandably sleep on 'Get It' because, unlike 'Just Good Friends', 'Get It' lacks a catchy melody that sticks in people's mind.

Note also that what makes a song good is certainly not the vocals.

It has been written that this was impossible due to Motown Records (Stevie Wonder's record label at the time).

Motown Records apparently did not want this song to get a release as a single (either as a standalone single or as a single from the 'BAD' album) by a competing record label (i.e., Epic Records).

Is the mj get it, solo version just a fanmake or legit demo?

Here's my hot take:

Don't remove any tracks. Just edit more. Cut down:

In the Closet
Heal the World
Black or White
Will You Be There

And you'll have enough room for at least another song. Make it SPYHO. Like Bad on vinyl vs CD. Release the full length song versions on the singles like the YRMW single.

And... If you gotta rid of one. Give away In the Closet, straight up. Let Madonna take it over and collaborate. Then maybe just do Blood on the Dance Floor.

Heresy!

GTS replaced FAT
As much as I love for all time, i believe SPYHO would have made a better inclusion. Thematically it fits in better as well. FAT is a beautiful love song about togetherness and in essence is very hopeful. SPYHO on the other hand is sung in desperation and it is quite bleak when you think about it. He is literally begging to be loved. That’s why I believe it would have fit the theme of “Dangerous”

Dear Mods, I'm calling for a immediate ban for @Mister_Jay_Tee 😁 for an offence hot take

In all seriousness In The Closet is perfect as is Will You Be There, although you could maybe take out the Beethoven sample at the beginning. I do like the swell of music after it ends though

He is clearly either joking or trolling. Cut down ITC and BoW 😂😂😂😂😂, as if he does not know Michael at all 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There's an early pressing of Bad with Streetwalker replacing APOM and Dirty Diana closing the album out.
There are several different early pressings of the 'BAD' album (with 'Streetwalker' on the album).

For example, there is an early pressing where 'Streetwalker' is the opening track, 'Another Part Of Me' is also on the album and 'Smooth Criminal' closes the album out.

Also, who has the Jimmy Smith keyboards in HQ from the pre-release version of Bad? cause the video version of Bad isn't the final mixing for sure

Nobody, hasn't leaked and the only thing we have is the unused extra vocals from the 2nd chorus from the video.
