Bc it's way more interesting to think about the lyrics of Price of Fame. Or it is if you are me and you only just listened to the song for the first time yesterday.Oh sweet Me oh my. Why would I have never known that??
But it's Thriller 40!Bc it's way more interesting to think about the lyrics of Price of Fame. Or it is if you are me and you only just listened to the song for the first time yesterday.
Sorry! I am seriously obsessed with the lyrics, atm. I cannot stop thinking about them. My brain is in a right tizz!
This is very true and this means that I am way off-topic, lol.But it's Thriller 40!
I don’t see a problem here? I believe some of the best ideas come from socializing between generations.Imagine hanging with a guy the age of your parents lol. But he's basically the coolest man on Earth.
It's not a problem at all. It's just out of the ordinary sadly.I don’t see a problem here? I believe some of the best ideas come from socializing between generations.
And I guess Thriller 40, but, ehh. Just a couple.Well I do wish I still had multiple songs to hear for the first time. Haven't had that feeling since 2012.
There's a huge difference since BJ was shot on film, but not the others.Billie Jean ain't in 4K, but the Off The Wall clips and Motown 25 also aren't and probably never will be, so I suppose it's not that far out of field. Still hugely disappointing though.
Well there's no excuse, unless MJ literally ate the tape or something. I'm just remarking on how enjoyable MJ still is, even in SD.There's a huge difference since BJ was shot on film, but not the others.
I personally wouldn't go that far. Mind you, I think this entire thing was poorly handled, but I've seen enough entitled thieves for the time being.I hope Lord Jackson steals every song from Sony's vault. And the docu. And the biopic footage. And they record the Broadway shows in 4K. It's what they deserve. To get hit where it hurts.
Shh, it's strictly prohibited to criticize the Estate here, mate.I do not understand The Estate and how they handle things...
Thriller and Beat It drops in 4K with NO PROMO, nothing. And the planned doc never comes...
God, I'll be 24 in a year. I need to start writing genius music now.Michael at 24 was basically at the peak of his work and all work in his field. At the top of his game.
I at 24 enjoy Chick Fil A a lot.
Thriller 3D was basically the same thingI still can not believe they put soo much effort into making a doc about Thriller - show it to small audiences at small fan events - and then nothing...
Not the momentum (if there ever was one?) is totally dead and gone... - If they drop a doc next month and link it to T40 it would just be weird and not make sense at all.

Maybe one day they'll call you the new King of Pop! Or Queen. It just depends.God, I'll be 24 in a year. I need to start writing genius music now.
That was my childhood dream, tho. To have the same job as Michael![]()
It was shown at the end of November. I honestly didn’t even think the preview would happen until the day of. It wasn’t fully completed yet (I’d say about 85% - there are some “filler” video shots over the audio in certain parts). They made such a big deal about no phones etc that I really thought it was going to be released. However there was no post-discussion or follow up survey with fans or anything like that. As a long time fan I was surprised at the “new” footage I hadn’t seen before - aside from the live footage the press conference at the museum of natural history and the interview in what seems to be the thriller set.It is weird and crazy we haven't heard more about this.
It was shown at fan events in december wasn't it? - So the doc i done and ready...
What on earth is going on? - And then the total radio silence...

Tbh, for a couple of seconds there I did have to think about it. Bc, I agree, it is *exactly* the sort of bonkers thing they would do.Edit: I forgot it's april 1st. but to my defence, it seemed like something the estate would actually do, just dropping the documentary wihtout any promotion.
24 and already a veteran in the music business.Michael at 24 was basically at the peak of his work and all work in his field. At the top of his game.
While this would make sense, they could have avoided all of this by shooting & editing the doc before the T40 release. Why screen it unfinished in the first place smh.one of the issues brought up from reviews was the documentary looked unfinished with filler material and not cohesive in story telling. Might be taking longer because the Estate is ironing out those hiccups by removing and adding what's needed.
