i can't wait for the day i finally get this album... it's just so important to me. Pages are also he ones that got into the pop rock/yacht rock genre as a whole!
 
if y'all have not listened to or heard of Ginger Root, I think now is the time to do so. possibly my favorite indie artist of this year and the last year. i can see him becoming a legendary artist soon enough, even with his smaller fan base.

this clip also is from his japanese tour. in this you can hear his voice be deeper and sound more mature. and he just has an amazing, soulful voice.
 
ever since i listened to this song on a ride home by my friends mom with my friend in the car as well, it only reminds me of that night. what a specifically nostalgic memory...
 
Currently listening to this with my friend in class... Both a great, nostalgic favorite of ours. Sure makes English class much more tolerable.
 
tbh MJ Munich concert - the brief moment in between songs where MJ discovers a tiny bug onstage, tells security "don't kill it!" is just as gold as the music haha.
 
i wonder if it's odd to imagine me and michael do a fake collab album with this kind of music... but i do it all the time. this and "Chemistry" from this same album. i wish i knew how many others like me are just as crazy about yacht rock as I am... am i the only one here??? 😭 😭 😭
 
omg i can't believe i forgot about this song... definitely giving Stevie Wonder vibes, especially in the intro... perfect music to relax and spend my day off to...
 
if i was in charge of playing music in my favorite antique store, i'd definitely play this. not even sure why... but i would! 🥺
