Threads of songs directly inspired by MJ songs

We've had a few discussions about MJ's musical inspirations, his interpolations and direct samples as well.

But what about the artists who have been directly inspired by MJ explicitly?

For an example:

Rock With You:

Directly inspired, this tune by Omar Apollo

These two songs together sound so alike you could mash them up and come away with an awful groove.

That sort of direct acknowledgement is what I'd love to hear more of. But I suppose I can accept more subtle homages, within reason. Artists like The Weeknd, Bruno, JT, definitely model themselves after MJ, but that's vague. I'd like to hear some explicit MJ connections.

I notice most artists take their inspiration for MJ esque tunes pretty much only from Off The Wall. and a little Thriller.
