Jimmy Fallons just kinda a dork, but he does like MJ a lotBut the only thing I like about America are the landscapes and Hollywood
We also heard Porcaro's version. And no, it looks more like the final version.
Mhm, combine that with Lead Vox Take #7 & you basically get a middle point between Steve's demo & the final track. Though what Michael was singing over in Take #7 is an even more fleshed out version of that track, notably it actually has a more fleshed out ending.
Personally, I've always been more of a fan of Steve's demo, mostly due to the key it's played in. But they made the best choice with how they did the final track.
They could also do the Beatles type stuff where they release different takes and demos of the songs that are already on the album.epic/sony & the estate could easily release an "uncut edition" of all of his 6 solo albums without emptying the vault.
The way it was told, Steve played his parts that way. I got the impression it was just the parts. Maybe he did play to the vocal takes? Either way, they could combine them still.Cool link, if you read all of it , some of the songs have completely different alternative versions. The guy speaks of a slower version of jam and compares it to a carnaval.
This all makes for great possible deluxe re issues like the big Marvin Gay albums had.
When you know all of this exist you realize we really have had nothing yet, this stuff could breath new life into old songs.
Something not talked about here but very intriguing is the very first version of Beat It which had a heavy metal feel to it but then Quincy asked to tone it down because it was supposed to be a hit.
It’s a bit sad knowing all this is that we usually get some remixed songs nobody of the fanbase is interested in.
They also don’t need to be on anniversaries. They can do one a year. They could also do the Beatles type stuff where they release different takes and demos of the songs that are already on the album.
Yes it is just the main riff from what I understand, I don’t think there were any other changes to the song. Maybe they even threw away his original part. The way it was told, Steve played his parts that way. I got the impression it was just the parts. Maybe he did play to the vocal takes? Let's hope they didn't. I'd like to hear that element.Yes it is just the main riff from what I understand, I don’t think there were any other changes to the song. Maybe they even threw away his original part.

Maybe he started to hang out with Stevie Wonder (again), MJ's way of singing sounded a lot like Stevie during Bad era:wondering why he got so angry between Thriller and Bad.
he sounds still quite chilled on Thriller.
He's definitely talking about "I Have This Dream".
This is video Snoop Dogg talking about song recorded with Michael Jackson .did anyone know what is the title
So was this song recorded?# This Is Our Time
Lauryn Hill [Denying the existance of a duet called 'This Is Our Time' with Michael and herself]: "I remember when my girlfriend called me up to congratulate me on the duet, and I was like...whaaaaat? I mean, I think if I could choose one person in the industry I'd like to record with it'd be Michael. He is so focused when it comes to what he wants, and who knows...maybe sometime in the future we will work together."
Does anyone know the source of this quote?
I have never been able to find a credible source for the existence of this song.

Those background vocals are in the Hollywood Tonight demo. The Hollywood Tonight backing vocals came from The Hurt? And Love Never Felt So Good uses Workin' Day and Night Samples? What other samples have posthumous songs borrowed?
Behind The Mask samples a Bad tour show (forget exactly which), Xscape samples You Rock My World, (I Like) The Way You Love Me samples a phone call. All other samples I know of were already present in the original versions. The Hollywood Tonight backing vocals came from The Hurt? And Love Never Felt So Good uses Workin' Day and Night Samples?
