It’s been 6 years now since I’ve last been to the cinema because it is so damn expensive but I’m definitely watching this film in the cinema

How the hell do you know that?I'm not a plastic surgeon nor a specialist, but claiming he didn't have anything done to his lips is outright denial.
But then again, why does that matter so much to some of you? To me, whether Michael Jackson had 2 plastic surgeries or 40 changes nothing AT ALL. MJ suffered from body dysmorphic disorder and simply wasn't satisfied with his appearance. The number of procedures he underwent is completely irrelevant to me.
The fact is: he did change A LOT, and the reasons behind those changes should be addressed in the biopic.
i think it came down to joesph teasing him bout his nose and the public wishing he was still that cute boy from the jackson 5I'm not a plastic surgeon nor a specialist, but claiming he didn't have anything done to his lips is outright denial.

umm noooo she looks nothing like dianaWhat about Kishaya Dudley from YRMW playing Diana Ross?
I think she looks a bit like Diana and I guess that's why Michael wanted her for the shortfilm.

Tbf even Stevie Wonder would be able to see that Michael had a lot of surgery. How the hell do you know that?
That's clearly Apple Music lol. But you are right, I wish Sony and Will.I.Am were this easy to infiltrate![]()
Bro needs to change his password, someone keeps messing with his Spotify account lol.
My bad, I only use Spotify and YT for music so I wouldn't know lol. That's clearly Apple Music lol. But you are right, I wish Sony and Will.I.Am were this easy to infiltrate
Body Dysmorphic Disorder, or simply BDD, is more common than you might think. How the hell do you know that?
Nothing I guess...What did he have done to his lips?
While I do believe it's highly likely that Michael suffered from this disorder (as a result of the trauma he went through as a child and teenager), many of the surgeries Michael had were actually reconstructive surgeries due to lupus, so not all the surgeries he had were due to body dysmorphic disorder. See this video:It's clear that Michael Jackson suffered from this mental disorder, evident just by the extent of cosmetic procedures he underwent on his nose.
Until we hear from Michael himself or from a very credible source what happened to his lips, we shouldn't make assumptions. Just like lupus affected his nose, there might be a medical explanation for what happened to his lips. I really doubt that what we see here was an intentional cosmestic change that Michael made.Nothing I guess...

I sincerely wish it were not necessary to share these pictures here, but it appears that some individuals persist in their denial. Why is it so difficult to accept that MJ underwent numerous cosmetic surgeries? He should not be stigmatized for this. He suffered from a disorder that made him feel dissatisfied with his appearance, that's why he felt he HAD to change. End of story.
No. It's not clear. It's you attributing something to someone you don't know, because it fits your story. Someone hating his nose or looks, does not automatically mean to have a mental disorder. It's clear that Michael Jackson suffered from this mental disorder, evident just by the extent of cosmetic procedures he underwent on his nose.
Agreed! Whether he had this disorder or not, he was never officially diagnosed with it, so it shouldn't be part of the biopic.No. It's not clear. Yeah, I think that's what it boils down to.he was never officially diagnosed with it, so it shouldn't be part of the biopic.
I am Michael Joseph Jackson I am still alive here's proof my websitehttps://www.rollingstone.com/movies/movie-news/michael-jackson-biopic-lionsgate-announced-1296360/
It's officially sanctioned by the estate & the Jackson family, and it's going to be co-produced by Graham King (AKA the producer of Bohemian Rhapsody who secured the rights to make an MJ biopic several months ago) and it's gonna be distributed by Lionsgate.
Also, Graham King is a fan who mentions that he's done his own research about the allegations and believes that he was innocent. So we've got that going for us, which is nice.
Personally, I don't think that a single 2-hour movie is enough to do justice to Michael's career, and I'd rather see the Estate focus on a project that helps vindicate MJ's innocence (e.g. Taj's upcoming Kickstarter documentary series). However, if this movie is done well and is able to improve the general public's perception of Michael in a more positive way, than it's a win-win situation.
What are your thoughts, everyone?
It's very clear, yet it seems difficult for some to acknowledge that Michael Jackson was not perfect. He was deeply unhappy with his appearance, leading him to undergo numerous cosmetic surgeries. His changes went beyond his skin condition, affecting his nose, lips, chin, hair, and eyebrows. His own words on the Oprah show, 'I try not to look in the mirror,' show the extent of his struggle, aligning with symptoms of BDD.No. It's not clear. It's you attributing something to someone you don't know, because it fits your story. Someone hating his nose or looks, does not automatically have a mental disorder.
seek professional help rather than cosmetic surgery, which is essentially what MJ should have done.
Nothing I guess...

See I feel the exact opposite. I want to go to the cinema and just celebrate Michael and his musicI hope the trial takes up a significant portion of the film. The part where Wade Robson testifies in defense of Michael could be great to use. He was officially acquitted so critics can’t use that against MJ for the inevitable terrible reviews without looking stupid. Everything that happened post 2009 obviously shouldn’t be mentioned either.
I personally think 2005 should be the big finale of the film and then a small segment afterwards about Michael’s passing. It’s no coincidence he died only 4 years after the trial. Stress and mental and physical pain from everything that happened between 1993 and 2005 took its toll. He was completely broken even if he often appeared positive afterwards in public. It probably was only a facade.
Exactly! There were tragedies in Michael's life, but his accomplishments, his beautiful heart and the magic he created overshadowed the tragedies and the movie should reflect that. People should feel like watching the movie over and over again after seeing it. Yes, the movie should make them feel emotional during the hard times, but at the end of the movie, they should feel in awe, not depressed.See I feel the exact opposite. Michael's story isn't a tragedy, it's the embodiment of the American dream. He came from nothing, to become the biggest superstar the world has ever seen
