Exactly this. People are mad he is 'being the new MJ' and he 'shouldnt tour with the jacksons in Michael spot' and whatnot. But people also moaning about he doesnt look like a Michael clone.

People it's a movie and Jaafar is the actor. It shouldnt look that realistic like the real Michael is in the movie. He looks close enough and maybe post production might tweek some things.

Without sounding too controversial, someone made a good point on X that those people complaining that Jaafar looks nothing like Michael , yet swear that Prince. Paris and Bigi look almost identical to him

I think the biggest thing with this biopic is the details. Michael was all about details, when they're missing fans are gonna nitpick.

Fans need to be patient and realise not everything is going to be perfect, but we're in good hands
